one of my friends did it before they ask so they did not ask him again, only they will ask you for an RCMP certificate and you can do it in advance as well
That’s the same I did. Just get it and submit it through webform it will save u sometime

Since each case is different, that's why some get it before others. I have a friend who is April 2019 applicant, nothing yet! Maybe it works in random order :)
And I know someone who is April 2019 got DM last week ? It’s strange game

On the one hand I am happy that then do not wait so long and got their Aipr Confirmations Eportal games logins etc on the other hand as it before said it is FIFO system, First In First Out -Immigration works like that. Should be like that. That is difference with my case someone says cases different. Why? If my decision made what is the point case to be different i am not in the middele waiting security or background check DM done already. Just need confirmation. That is. If offices closed and officers working from home why different styles here going on. That is the big issue. So many people waiting just simple Confirmation. I talked with my friend he is waiting from Sep 17 his confirmation while another my friend got Dm 15 then 27 Confirmation and after one month got Pr card.
While sept 17 guy waiting simple his Confirmations. The question is why? Dont tell me about cases different or something simple no any system when how who where got conformation no one knows.
Ur case officer might have left for holidays. So be wait for his return. Sorry was just kidding. Yes ur right this should be FIFO.

Hey guys I need some advice I applied for refugee as a lgbtq and was accepted, However I had a child while awaiting my permanent residence. I received my DMand it says you must report to IRCC if you have additional kids born in Canada. My lawyer says I should not report my kid as it may raise issues, however I feel as I should report it, I don’t think there is a law that states you can’t have kids as LGBTQ. Please offer your suggestions

I would see how that would be problematic especially if you had the child through a relationship with the other sex. I'd say ask your lawyer if it would be legally problematic if you don't report it...

I wonder if anyone on this forum could share their experience with us? How long is the eligibility expected to last?
It will be greatly appreciated!
Hello, might be behind a bit with my answer, police certificate and finger print were sent on Oct 28, 2020 and yesterday Dec 16 got a letter that I passed eligibility. Not sure where I’m with my status and what is next. Background checking in the process. I’m Oct 02, 2019. I guess still way to go. Good luck to everyone!

Not everyone gets asked for medical or resume etc. some of us just submit the application and that's it. you wouldn't be denied. if they need anything they will contact you and give you a time frame to complete it. if you don't or didn't give a suitable reason as to why it can't be done. your application is then deemed incomplete and then refused. and you just reapply.
Some people are lucky I am May 2019 applicant had to did RCMP /FBI and fresh medical ( passed 25th Aug 2020 ) Dec 12 /2020 passed Eligibility and now waiting !!!
