Generally speaking ~ there is no linkage between the two. However:

1) "DM" means that your case processing is complete and you're in queue for a ceremony
2) How long it'd take is anybody's guess
3) Observation over the forums indicate that [usually] by 6-8 weeks an oath invite is received
4) More importantly, the IO at the end of the interview [usually] indicates when you're likely to receive such an invite

BOTTOMLINE: Just chill. You're almost done - and it's just a matter of time. Congrats!

I passed my exam on June 13th and was told I'd receive further notice in 6-8 weeks. Still haven't received the invitation for the oath.

I even called CIC 2 months back and they said it shows in process but wouldnt know when the invitation will be sent.

Was pretty much told to just wait and if its past 12 months of AOR then I can raise a case .

My time line is :

Application received: Jan 26, 2018.
AOR: Feb 26, 2018.
Started processing: March 29, 2018.

This time line doesn't show decision made but the status changed to decision made a day after my exam.

Losing patience here now!

Time line wouldn't show decision made. The bar that was showing in-process before turns to DECISION made!
Also, please read what Qorax wrote before.

And DON'T WORRY ....
