Hi I will be eligible to apply citizenship application on 18 January 2018

How many weeks should I give extra

Do you guys think two or three weeks extra is enough time .

Thanks

Kindly reply

Personally, I’d give it a month to cover any possible disputed days. It would be awfully annoying to have an application rejected because of a few days miscalculation.

I guess it really depends on whether or not you've travelled extensively or even at all. If you haven't left the country then a couple week is more than adequate. :D

A buffer of three weeks should be good enough if you have a very straightforward travel history (such as in my case). I applied with fewer than 1485 days out of 6 years (under Bill C-24), and got my citizenship in under six months. But then again, I have more straightforward travel history than most people, and the rule of thumb is always, the more the better.
