Thanks for the confirmation, I thought it was ok to send from here.

Mississauga received our application October 5th, I was approved as sponsor Nov. 4, ECAS updated to say my husband's part was in process since November 24. We heard nothing since then until he got the email yesterday! So excited. It's been a long haul (I was originally going to immigrate to Ireland, then we started getting his paperwork together a year ago) even though the Canadian immigration process for us has been pretty quick in all fairness. Fingers crossed for quick resolutions for everyone waiting!

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!! So happy for you!!!!

Hi,
I havent been on here in a while but just caught up on all the PPort requests sent recently. Congrats all!

so, am i right in saying that it generally takes 2 months after ecas says 'In Process' ?
My ecas went to 'in process' in january and i know its unreliable at best but ive been expecting to see an email from CIC london everytime i open my email. (and spam - jeeze, my spam folder is full of some weeeeird stuff!)
anyway, heres hoping it'll be quicker than another month.. tic toc!

Thanks guys, really appreciate it, and love the post patiently, made me smile!

I know everyone has days like this, just hitting my share right now I'm in Canada when everything is supposed to be all shiny and bright and wonderful... Oh well, ho hum, it will be in an hour or so after my Pinot (yes, will spell it right this time!)

At least all you guys know what I'm going through and that really does help.

I take a forum break for a day (got called into work and was too exhausted to even think about the computer at the end of the day) and we get all this action.

Mandi I can so understand where you are coming from. I told someone last night that I found the last two weeks more stressful than the waiting for the PPR.
So may be for a kind heads up not always rainbows and butterflies after you get your ppr. I have been quiet out of respect for those still waiting but i think its good it has croped up so others can see and know what they might expect.

on the other other hand a big congrats to Rob and other who finally have their PPR!

I wouldn't trust the "in process" thing regarding timelines or any ECAS updates for that matter. It varies from one week to 4 or 5 months! My sister who is in a common law relationship with a guy from England has an immigration lawyer dealing with their stuff. And the lawyer told them that the entire process generally takes 5 to 6 months (including sponsorship) through London. Assuming ofcourse that there isn't any complications or hiccups such as being pulled in for an interview. In my situation, London acknowledged that they received our application November 21st (or 27th...) but they didn't start processing it until January 21st. So essentially it was sitting in their office for nearly two months. It would really suck if I had to wait for another 3 or 4 months on top of that. So, I'm still hoping to hear some good news by the end of February or so. Keeping my fingers crossed!

I GOT MY PPR!!!!!

It arrived via email this afternoon! MikeUK and I couldn't be happier!!!

I hope everybody who is still waiting gets good news soon! <3

Congratulations!!! You must be thrilled.
All the best to both of you.

I really hope so... starting to lose my patience!!

Big congrats to all who have received their PPRs looks like London is rocking right now, I've just updated the October listings and almost all the PPRs were for London and there are only a couple of people going through London that don't have their PPR yet.

Am sure all the waiting PPRs will come through soon, I just think that different IOs work different ways.

Fingers crossed for everyone still waiting.

;D
