Just to let you know my wife received the COPR 8th November! Not sure why as I thought being the main applicant, I would require this for when I land? We put my Mrs as the representative, though. Fortunately she is coming to the UK first week December. HOWEVER, we noticed on the document it states my marital status as single. Is this something that needs amending?

If you check the spreadsheet for the time LVO take between PPR and sending out the COPR, you will see that for other applicants, it seems to take 3 - 4 weeks. You are well under that - I am sure you will get it in the next week or two. LVO are fairly notorious for not bothering to update that they have received stuff on the tracking service. I wouldn't bother trying to contact them for another week or two yet.

I can imagine how frustrating it is to be so near. I still have three or four months to wait to be in your position!

Bit anxious about having not included a chinese police cert due to difficulties and wondering on time framws.

If you nominate a representative, they receive all communication, including the COPR.

CBSA should be able to correct the marital status on the COPR when landing.

From feedback on this and another forum, it seems to be the final process before approval. People have reported it taking anywhere from a couple of days to three weeks. No guarantee of course that 3 weeks is a 'maximum'.

Only relaying the experience of others from British Expats (as evidenced on the spreadsheet) and they were probably straightforward cases (i.e. no huge list of countries lived in etc.). Having said that, you do seem to be somewhat 'ahead of your class' for other London applicants (although there was one approval faster than your for London so who knows!), but then they don't operate a strict chronological queue.

I haven't noted any instances other than the final type requests (i.e. passport, up to date photos etc.). They would normally have identified additional requirements before embarking on background checks - but on MyCIC, what does it say about 'Review of eligibility'?

Background check 'in progress' / Eligibility is still 'in progress' / no other changes
Guess they're working on early April applications now! So excited to hear the timeline is so short between BG check and DM (no other countries but Ireland and we included a local (Canada) one too, for good measure )!! Woot!

Careful with the timelines for background checks - it is only recently we have had this level of detail courtesy of MyCIC, but early reports do indicate these timescales....

When should we expect the PPR?? It will go to PA email correct?

YAY! Can someone update spreadsheet to reflect this? Also is it normal for ECAS to update before GC Key?

Hi seniors,
I got notes and they have mention original documents sent to sponsor address in canada and also medical and eligibility passed but background and security not started.
How long does it takes to do background and security ? I was requested on 24 oct to provide update police certificates and schedule A background declaration form which i have uploded already...
Plz advise...

Congratulation! Spreadsheet updated.

You will get a Conditional Offer of Permanent Residence (COPR) in paper format sent to the physical address you nominated (i.e NOT an email attachment if that is what you were asking). It will be 'signed for'.
