It is, I still eagerly await the email confirmation that my visas been approved for family. I do not know when I will hear but hoping any day this week. I haven't told wife yet because she would go mental not knowing

You get informed of the decision by regular mail, not email FYI

I think you get all correspondence via email except the final decision. The CoPR always comes by mail, so unfortunately we've got to wait!

Quick question . My husband will need to renew his visitors status come Feb 27th . How long in advance do i have to do this .. I'm not to optimistic about him getting his Dm before then.

I did mine the day before my visa expired and I got given 2 years!

-Date application received in Mississauga: 12th November, 2014
-Whether you applied as Married or Common-Law: Married
-Date of sponsor approval: 12th February, 2015
-Which office is processing Phase 2 of your application (will say on your sponsor approval letter/email): London, UK
-Date the permanent residence status changed to In Process on ECAS: ?? June, 2014
-Date(s) of any other requests you've had: None so far
-Whether or not the principal applicant is non-visa exempt (if non-visa exempt) provide the applicant's nationality : Principal Applicant is non visa exempt - Pakistani
-Current location of the principal applicant- closest major city is fine if you don't want to be too specific: Islamabad
-Date of medical exam: 29th September, 2014, date extended to Jan 26, 2016 according to case notes

So my Ecas changed to DM last week, up until then I was checking it daily, I know the COPR comes by post but will it still get posted online that they sent the letter or anything? Basically I want to know if there is any point me checking online every 5 mins. :

I received my COPR last week and ECAS didn't get updated with anything after it changed to DM. Some peoples change but others don't. Be patient and you will find out in the post. Easier said than done though, I found the wait from DM to COPR really hard. Every time I saw the post man I got an adrenalin rush!

Oh man , wish it didn't take that long, thankfully mine is being mailed in same area in London. Wish they would hurry up. And yes it's def torture

Status changed to DM on Thursday 26th and received Copr in post today!

It explains that we have options to make an appointment at a CIC office or leave and come back into the country. Anyone done the appointment at a CIC office? Or just faster and easier to do border?

Thanks so much to this forum and for those who make this forum happen. The forum is great and has answered questions better than any other resource! I am sure I will continue to log in 3 times daily along with Ecas.

Pretty sure there's a Canadian equivalent to the US ESTA coming in in March. Probably worth investigating in terms of extending visas etc - presume it will be required. May also be going mad and have made that up after a night on the ale!
