Hey Everyone,

I received COPR through the post yesterday just 2 days after ECAS changed to decision made 8) ;D 8), my complete application has been processed in just under 11 months, my visa office was London.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone that has helped me throughout my journey especially Andrew (Andrew-brit), we are so lucky to have the forum and people like him, thanks again.

Spreadsheet updated, congrats mate. The mysteries of LVO will never cease to amaze me.

Just received an email requesting my partner's Norwegian police clearance (he had lived there for a year). We anticipated them asking for it, we have it and will send it along asap, it had simply taken too long to come and we submitted our app without it. Ecas hasn't changed.

The address signed in the email is:

High Commission of Canada/Haut-commissariat du Canada
Immigration Section/Service d'immigration (p.p. SXB)
Canada House/Maison du Canada
Trafalgar Square
London/Londres SW1Y 5BJ
United Kingdom/Royaume-Uni

I am assuming it is okay to send a courier such as UPS to that address?

The mysteries of LVO will never cease to amaze me.

Andrew, I agree!! My medicals expire today and i have heard nothing from LVO. To make it worse, Ecas still has Application Received!!!

. I know many have said Ecas is not always a true reflection of what is going on but it would be nice to see some movement on my application like many others are seeing. I just hope my file hasnt been thrown to some back room. The waiting is so painful

Sibby, we were in the same situation as you just a few weeks back. About 10-12 days after our medical expired we went In Progress and we received an email from LVO the same day asking for a remed.

I have been in process for 2.5 weeks (7th September) and my medical expired on the 30th August. So far no word from London, meanwhile there are applications in December 2014 and January 2015 which have been approved.

Sorry to go off topic but just need advice.

My hubby tried ringing the call centre on 1-888-242-2100 to see if he's been approved as Sponsor. The automated messages seemed to refer to inland applications taking 27 months blah blah blah but nothing else. There was mention of Princ Applicants too but nothing about Sponsor enquiries. Is this the wrong number?

(CIC currently working on applications received on July 28th and that was dated September 15th, processing taking 55 days. We were hoping to have an answer about Stage 1 by ringing them)

It makes zero sense how they work things at the London Office. I would love to spend a day there and see how they choose which applications are to be worked on that day. Mine just seemed to sit for months on end without being worked on and i had zero red flags, so there's no reason it should have taken so long. It also puts a bitter taste in your mouth having to pay for another medical due to how long they took to process it.

Yes that is the correct number. I am not sure of the menu options you need to press but there is no automated way to find out if you have been approved as sponsor, you need to get through to someone and ask them.
