Well thats the last pickle. Not sure if the letter goes to the lawyer first (my mailing address on eCAS is listed as their address) or if it'll come to my home address (only listed under my wifes eCAS login)

I moved on August 1st...so if it comes to "us" it'll go to my old address...Asked the new guy living there to hold any mail that comes for me so it shouldn't be a big problem regardless.

Seems the lawyer has it and they want their last $25 to courier it. Seems a bit steep to go one province over lol

Lawyers and extra fees..... oh well! congrats on being done!!!

Hey Orly,

How did you contact your MP and what is the process? What was the reasoning you contacted them?

Just wondering what my next step will be if I haven't heard anything.

My MP had a contact form on their website so I just filled in my story and time line and explained I was out of a job and it was in everyone's interest for my file to be completed. They then contacted CIC themselves on my behalf and apparently were able to get more information than I could...being ignored when I sent in requests.

Hello All,

We are February 2013 Applicant. I have been a silent member for a long time. I found this forum really helpful throughout the whole process. Here is our timeline-

Application Sent- 5th February
Received in Mississauga- 6th February
Sponsorship Approved- 27th February

Since then ecas shows Application received.

we are Non-visa exempt. Really hopping to hear from London VO sometime soon.

Dont think the UK MP can really do much for you as you aren't one of his constituents any more.

Your Canadian MP (well the people working for him/her) should be able to help.

Well my decision made was apparently 2 weeks ago so you might be done too and just have the same lazy so and so in London not updating eCAS.

I applied a month before you then and still waiting.

I am going to email my MP here in Vancouver then! Thanks for the heads up mate. Fingers crossed!

'In process' for over 5 months..

No response to my last 2 emails..

Life is good and the system is clearly efficient and professional!!
