My friends... OUR WAIT IS OVER!

Hubby's parents got his PR package in the mail TODAY! They're going to FedEx it over and we should have it in the next week!

(PS Our ecas is still showing "In Process")

I have been a friggin trainwreck all morning... never was I so excited to leave the gym to 3 missed calls and 15 text messages from my husband LOL.

I'll keep you all posted! :)

Congratulations to you! Such wonderful news and great to see another November applicant going through the system!

Just wondering when your application went "in process"?

Cheers!

No doubt!

I have been in process since April 13th, so hoping I will get that all important DM soon! Was your application standard? Any prolonged travel outside the UK? :)

Hubby overstayed a vistors visa, so we had to send a boatload more documents proving that he really wasn't a bad guy :P

ScottishMaple: Thanks so much!

On a related note: We got his parents to scan the COPR so we could look at it - and surprise surprise there's an error (address was entered incorrectly on the COPR: just the house number). It should be 3554 Main St. and it's 3552 Main St. Only problem is that 3552 Main St does not exist. Anyone know if this will make a difference at the border when we flagpole?

it probably won't make a difference. On my COPR there was only the country of birth instead of the town and the officer just added something.
When you land, they will ask you for your address for the PR card, just make sure that this one is correct. As long as birthday/nationality etc are correct, then you're good to go.
Congrats! :-)

When your hubby "lands" they'll ask to confirm his address. Just tell them then that a number was wrong. Also, if you have any other proof of address for him it might be useful! They asked for some from me when I landed at Niagara.

Congratulations to you both!

A short little update from PAFSO: http://www.pafso.com/news_releases.php?newsID=157

Sweden and DGT: Thank you! :) We still have a week to wait for the docs to get from the UK to Canada so it will be a SLOOOOW week for us!
I called CIC and they echoed the same thing: the address doesn't matter, just make sure you give the right one to the Immigration Officer when he lands.

A ray of light at last! Albeit a ray of light subject to certain conditions ;)

We should be thankful that decisions are still being made and work done in London. It's a full stop in several overseas missions.
