Hello everyone! Need help! I emailed cic and they emailed me back with this. We require the following fee inorder to finalize your application.
Right to permenant residency fee 490 can dollars. This payment cannot be paid in the UK and needs to be paid in Canada. Please advise your sponsor to pay this in Canada. Your medical has been extended until 1/2/2014

Wonderful! Contact them right away with a photocopy of your receipt, and that should sort it. Foolishness! If a private organisation behaved like this, they'd never survive.

Yeah Im sending an enquiry again with a copy of the reciept. What bull eh! Better sort it quick or I will have to hold my husband back...! Hes not going to be happy when he gets in from work and i tell him this one!

Don't worry! It's probably just some confusion assigning your payment to the application correctly. I can see how that would happen when fees are paid prior to the application actually being submitted. With the receipt number, they should be able to track it down correctly.

You could spin this around and see this as good news. The fact that they extended your medical means the COPR is pretty much ready to be issued. Once they overcome their horrendous incompetence on this issue you are almost done (assuming no more horrendous incompetence, which is a big assumption)...

Hi don't worry about it, they asked me for it two months ago so I sent them the original receipt and all is well, a month later and I went to "in process" they do make some silly mistakes

So frustrated right now. I emailed the London office yesterday concerning my medical because it expired in March; they emailed me back today saying they cannot find my medical. I've been in process for over 2 months now...wonder when they were going to notify me about this...
