Your British (Like myself) I believe we are visa exempt and there will be no passport request just stage 2 of processing and then doc requests, interview (if needed) and COPR if application successful. So there should be no PPR for you

when you leave the uk to migrate to canada are you meant to notify the customs and revenue (tax people) about you migrating or not?

Yup, if you fill out a P80 (I think) and post it off, you may get some tax back!

I got my COPR yesterday. The only thing left to do now is land I still can't quite believe how fast the whole process has been and that we didn't forget to fill out or sign any forms.

Here's our full timeline - just over 5 months from start to finish.

Ap sent:Jan 30th
Ap rec: Jan 31st
Sp app: May 1st
In process: Jun 25th
Dec made: Jul 10th
COPR rec: Jul 11th

Seems most are getting COPR wel before 7 month's which London claims it could take upto! Hope it goes fast for all!!

hi everyone, my application was received by the cic on april 4th. they've sent me an e-mail saying that they received it in april and started processing my application from july 6th. they have sent my file over to london. how long will the london office take to get in contact with me. i know it says 7 months on the web site jus wondering if anyone has had any news on their app befor 7 months. will i need to go for an interview..
