@ Victorfoxtrot

No news yet... Gonna have to wait and see the processing times changes this week before I call! I am in the UK though. Anyone have a number I can call to chase up from here?

Oh damn! I was really hoping you would have had a response. I seem to recall there's someone just a couple of days ahead of you on the spreadsheet who got their's last week even though their application was received 2 days later than the date they said they were working to. Seems like they are slowing down, I am expecting they will update today to say it has increased to 75 days or something. Grrrrrr! Sorry can't help you with a phone number.

May the waiting now commence. our pack was signed for at CPC-M yesterday afternoon. ;D

Welcome to the forum! Do you mind if I add your details to the London spreadsheet?

Congrats on getting it sent off, let the waiting commence!

@ foxtrot

Well I called. No news on my file being opened, but my girls citizenship has been forwarded to London as of oct. 20. So a little good news for me. Fingers crossed. Really, all
I want to know is that the application is there!

Woo-hoo! We got first stage approval today - by snail mail rather than email. It was dated 4th November and it just arrived in today's post (9 Nov), so by my calculation that took 66 days. Please update the spreadsheet Pinklady!

Rscmoore - you're in the UK right? Is your sponsor also...? Perhaps they have sent your approval via snail mail too, hence why it is taking so long? When you spoke to them couldn't they confirm if your file had been received?

And now onto the next stage!

@ foxtrot

Congratulations! Woo hoo!
I am the sponsor. We live together, so hopefully the approval will reach one of us! They couldn't confirm the application, which is a bit worrying. The post said it reached its destination, so I hope you are right. Snail mail... The agent said something about the processing times just being updated and that their systems hadn't been updated yet to link up to the latest application updates. That this happens after the processing update, which could take time. He said not to worry if the tracker said the package reached its destination. Is the package supposed to be acknowledged somewherewhen they get it or does it get thrown in a massive pile waiting to be opened?

Congrats again!!!

Yes Pinklady - please add me to the spreadsheet and I'll keep you posted :)

Well done foxtrot! So glad it's going well!!

Haha my best tip is to don't get into a habit of checking e-cas and this forum every day. Just try to completely forget that you are waiting for something and go on with your life. It's hard, but it absolutely sucks to be aware of and worried about your application every day. You'll get your results eventually, and unfortunately there's nothing you can do in the meantime!

I'm hoping to get my passport returned to me today, so I can flagpole land this weekend :D
