Good morning again,

I am still finalising my application - perhaps I am over thinking this.

My wife and I were dating were 9 years and have been married for 5 months now. In relation to proving a genuine relationship/marriage I have included the following:

1. A 3 page document for question 9 (development of relationship) this includes 45 attachments within an appendix - such as a selection of email, cards, all passport stamps, photographs.

2. Marriage certificate
3. A selection of ceremony photos, wedding invitation list, selection of rsvp cards
4. A selection of reception photos, reception contract, and menu
5. honeymoon booking and photos
6. A selection of photos taken over the past 10 years
7. details on our joint account
8. details on car financing

Anything missing?

That is a good selection of proof - I don't think you require anything more for proof of relationship

Just make sure all of your forms are signed and dated and no blank spaces are left

The more you over think it and delay in sending in your application, the longer it will take to get copr!!

Hi, quick question;

Just got my notes, for my application it says due date is August 22 and it has an assigned VO. Does this mean they will start working on it then? What's been your experience? Has it been close to the In Process date?

FYI criminality is in progress and security is not started, however it also says I have no reportable trace and I passed for RCMP etc. I'm confused

I'm glad you got your notes on time Graihn!

"criminality is in progress and security is not started, however it also says I have no reportable trace and I passed for RCMP"

The above is exactly what mine said and 2 months later all of my checks were complete then 2 weeks later I got DM so I would say this is a good sign

As for due dates mine were all over the place, one of my due dates was for April 2015 and the other due dates had passed so I wouldn't read to much into those dates

Ok I assume I dont have to wait two more months. I waited 5 months after SA to order notes, I am sure you did it sooner.

This is what a part of my notes say, in the beginning:

Paper File
Office: London
Paper file# F0000XXXXX
Location: MP01097

Application Assignment
Assigned to MP01097
Assigned by LF03103 (the one who approved the sponsorship)
Due date: 2014/08/22 (looks like this is when MP01097 should start processing)

Also, my notes say (from the VO) that the starting in 2011 shows 12 or more months of consecutive cohabiting is bona fide in his opinion, I guess that is good..

Also, how do I send a case specific enquiry? It is not working.. The notes are saying my unit# is 3 and street# is 2101. It is the other way around. I need to update this ASAP. I am freaking.

Oh how interesting I also had MP01097

And my due date for that section was 17/07/2014...
I never noticed that before I always focused and the due dates for crim, security etc

My DM was on 14/07/2014

I also had a comment about a bona fide relationship, so I would say its a good thing as I have my COPR

And your right I ordered my notes much earlier than you did

Good news! My wife landed at yvr yesterday (19th of august) process was very smooth. She was just asked basic questions and asked to sign the document. Landing officer was named wong and was very nice!
Good luck to everyone in process your turn will come

Thank you

I just noticed that one of my dates is out by a week (when my left returned to Canada from Ireland). Should I change this date everywhere in the application or leave as is?

How long is a piece of string?!

Unfortunately no one can tell you how long you have to wait, it could be days, weeks or months

Just be patient, hopefully you will hear something soon

hope sooooooo :'(

They will send it to the mailing address that you gave them for the applicant

Then, definitely to London!

Thank you

Me again,

I was about to complete the supplementary information - Your travels on IMM 562 until i noticed that this is applicable to Paris office only.

I am now concerned, where do I include t all trips you, and if applicable, your family members have taken outside your country of origin or of residence in the last ten years (or since your 18th birthday if this was less than ten years ago). Include all trips: tourism, business, training, etc. If you or your family member did not travel outside of your country during this period, check "did not travel".

My personal history section was quite general
