Hi all,

I found the forum a while back when applying but not been that involved since. I realised it would be useful for my details to be added to spreadsheet though for future applicants. Thankfully I got DM today!!

-Date application received in Mississauga: March 20, 2015
-Whether you applied as Married or Common-Law: Married
-Date of sponsor approval:April 28, 2015
-Which office is processing Phase 2 of your application (will say on your sponsor approval letter/email): Ottawa
-Date the permanent residence status changed to In Process on ECAS: September 22, 2015
-Date(s) of any other requests you've had: 22nd of September - email asking for proof of residency
-Whether or not the principal applicant is non-visa exempt: Yes
-Current location of the principal applicant- closest major city is fine if you don't want to be too specific!: Glasgow, UK
-Date of medical exam: January 2015 (before applying)
-Decision made: November 10, 2015

Cheers!

So I just woke up to an email from London VO -
"In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:

Medical: Complete or provide proof of completion of the Immigration medical examination.

Please be advised, medical instructions were sent to you in a separate e-mail on November 10,

2015."

Am I right in thinking I just need to email them my emedical info sheet again to LDNIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca ?

Yes I did, I also sent them a CSE a few months back with it attached again since ECAS wasn't saying they'd received them and I had to send them my daughters birth certificate so I figured why not.

Okay, I would suggest replying to the email with the attached document and send a case specific enquiry with the attached document.

Be sure to include identifying information such as file number, UCI's, full name, date of birth etc.

Thanks Andrew Brit for updating spreadsheet.

Congrats to all those receiving DM and nice to see some 2014 applicants in there!

Advice please - partner's application was filed December 2014 and the criminal record check would have been done around August 2014 as we were preparing to send in application. As it has been well over a year, any thoughts on voluntarily sending a new criminal record check to CIC just to expedite things as I'm sure they will ask for another one in the coming weeks/months? If so, would I just send the original to the London Visa Office or scan a copy in a CSE or do both?

Thanks in advance :)

I wouldn't send anything unless requested. They may be okay with working on your crim check that they received back in August/December of last year. Mine were dated Sept, August of 2014. We filed in October and LVO received our application Dec 1st. We were never requested new checks.

I had a similar email a month ago, and that was despite me attaching it to the original application.

I emailed and snail mailed it to them the very next day. What I know from my GCMS notes is that they received it via email, but that the person working my file did nothing with it.

Hi JULESB82, can you tell me the applicant's location? Closest city is fine if you do not want to be too specific.

Also did they say why they need an updated schedule A?

Hi Andrew-brit,
closest city is montreal,
Yes i received the email earlier, they asked for a separate and updated schedule A bearing an original signature including personal history for the past 10 years.
Is this common?
This whole process is so frustrating…
I ordered my notes yesterday, hoping to see some movement

Hi guys, I received this from LVO a few hours ago:

Dear Applicant,

We are writing with regards to your family-class application for permanent residence in Canada.

Please be advised that, in order for us to continue processing your application, we require the following:

Medical examination results. Please be advised that our medical department is currently having difficulty in tracking your medical results. In order to expedite this, please provide a copy of the e-medical Information Sheet displaying either a UMI # or an IME #. If necessary, please contact the Designated Medical Practitioner/Panel Physician where the medical was completed in order to obtain further information.

Please submit the requested documentation/information to us within 10 days including a copy of this email as a cover letter. Please submit all the above documents to us at the same time, quoting your file number (shown in the subject line above) on all correspondence.

Kind regards,

JS
Given the days given I'd assume they're asking for an email back.. but the "cover letter" request makes things a little complicated. Advice?

Thanks elf, spreadsheet updated. I take it your medical was done before November 10th 2014?
thanks for updating the spreadsheet!

my husband actually had two medicals done - the first was at the end of October 2014 when we planned to apply inland, and the second at the beginning of April 2015 when we decided to apply outland. we did the second medical voluntarily because we were already so far into the validity period of the first one, but we included the results of the first one in the application with a note explaining we were including it to indicate no change in his health (we didn't really expect that to be of any real use, but figured it couldn't hurt - we also figured it indicated that our relationship was ongoing). so technically, his medical should be valid until April 2016, but we'll respond to this request anyway just to keep all our bases covered.

i know it will have been asked and answered on here, so i apologize, but we can just hit reply on this email and send the information that way, correct? no need for a letter to be sent by mail?
