so I got my GCMS. Needed some clarification

Eligibility: Not Started
Security: Not Started
Criminality: Not Started
Medical: In Progress

On Aug. 11 someone reviewed the file for eligibility and after making some notes, " Sent file for officer review"

In Finalize Application Section
Document Issuance: 0
Refusal Grounds: 0

What does 0 mean????

Due Date: 2011/11/10

What is this due date??????????

Mine looks the same as yours except I dont have an application assignment due date or any notes.When I got my GCMS notes the last update was in July.

I checked Ecas today using my wife's client ID, there is an update but noticed a weird things...Please help if there are anyone can explain...

As I know there are two steps which are shown in ECAS as Sponsorship Application Status and Permanent Residence Application Status...

So here we go....(Followings are only new updates, old ones still exists...which means I have 2 clickable things under each step)
Under Sponsorship Application Status: We received your application on July 11, 2011. We started processing your application on July 29, 2011 (under Sponsorship Application status which got approved in June, Are they reviewing sponsorship application twice? both in mississauga and buffalo? or maybe officer put a wrong thing?)
Under Permanent Residence. We received application for permanent residence on July 11, 2011.
** They sent my AOR on August 3rd.
So my question is....
1. If they started to process my application on July 29th...why did I get updates just yesterday?? I thought there are only couple days of delay...not like 2 months delay...
2. Is it possible that they start to process applications before sending out AOR? (I called CIC center, and they said any updates on ECAS after file transferred to Buffalo is done by officers there.)
3. Usually how long does it take to get PPR after they process the application..?
4. Does my case makes sence to you guys? lol like they received application on july 11th, start to process on july 29th, giving out AOR on august 3rd etc etc...

Yeah I do.. They came around 4:00 this morning and I just checked.. Still there. They make me nervous too! I asked hubby if maybe they were reconsidering his eligibility as a sponsor ... Maybe they're refusing ... Maybe they entered our decision but clicked the wrong option!!!


...I think I'm overreacting. Just a computer glitch. (crosses fingers... And toes)

I have the same thing...2 lines in my sponsor's ecas

Maybe this is becoming the new standard of how it's supposed to show up? (There seem to be quite a few of us with this) I have 2 lines, but ONLY in my sponsor's e-cas. The first line shows the completion of the sponsorship approval with "Decision Made" under that column, the second line shows "In Process" under the sponsorship column, and both lines show "Application Received" under PR app status.

Perhaps it has something to do with having been a transfer case? NYC didn't want to or couldn't modify the e-cas that Buffalo had started, so they created a new line and when they entered the "in process" info, it defaulted to the first step (the sponsorship column) rather than PR?

I could be totally wrong, but it's a nice theory, eh? lol
