Had an eCAS blip this morning, and was happy, until I found it was the same old "we transferred your file to Detroit on January 26th... etc"

Guess if I think about it right, they are working on it...

U dont get email letting you know about the update. you have to check your status on e-cas every time.

I check 3 or 4 times per day . Status remains same last 5 months, "application received".

U dont get email letting you know about the update. you have to check your status on e-cas every time.

You can get emails about updates if you sign up for the e-cas tracker. That is what Hal is referring to. Search for e-cas tracker on here and you'll find the link to sign up. It's free.

Hal, that happened to me two tuesdays in a row and it drove me nuts, as I was always so disappointed when it was nothing. But then today (the 3rd tuesday), I got an email that showed decision made and I also received my PPR email this morning, so you may be right and maybe it does mean they are working on your file. It appears so with mine. So many in two weeks you'll get PPR!

Heh, yeah... It happened to me this morning . I got so excited, since we've been waiting about 6 months and there's been no word since December. But it turned out to be a false alarm - it was the "we've made a decision on the sponsorship portion in Mississauga and sent you a letter" message from the sponsor (my husband's) eCAS. Sigh.

Communautés culturelles (MICC) on November 30, 2010. "

We received CSQ on december 28th...was so happy, I thought it was In process or application received...no....still says " not available "

Yes, i got PPR in January, but still have not received the passport back
