No changes here :/ I was thinking to send update package. Some emails and pics of xmas with hubbys family. Also we are moving end of month (Toronto, we are coming back!)so im thinking to change the address in same letter. I dont know if its good idea or not...

I miss work soooo much! Im really hardworking and its pain not to work(and save and shop, hahah). Mostly i feel super bad that hubby has to do all the shopping and paying bills.

Yes, lets hope we are not here for long...I might stick around after too

If you're satisfied with what you sent in your initial application then I would just hold off on sending more stuff. I don't think it's necessary unless you feel you didn't submit enough initially. Oh and welcome back to T.O. You'll be working before you know it and then you'll be sad about how little vacation time we get in Canada!

Kelkel is right - plus you wouldn't want to look like you are trying too hard if that makes sense... wait and see.. it is hard but I would hate for you to send stuff that gets lost because it didn't get directed properly because you didn't have their barcode stickers on it from when they request stuff!!

Ok, i will wait. I havent do anything to get package together yet, i was just thinking. We missed alot of msn conversations cause we both have to get new computers last spring...that is only thing what worries me.

Yes, i probably will miss my vacation time someday i have been without work almost 1,5 years now...little bit too much! Im not gonna stay home ever ever never never again, ahhahah

Do they still have those Toronto meetups??

hi every 1
it's been a blessing week for us this week
first we cme 2 know that nairobi started processing our application on january 5
and today i got my AOR inthe mail
they asked me 2 submit some stuff that i've already submitted and some newones
bythe way i needed that chance as i want 2 add some supporting documents with my application
i have 2 add my son to the application he was born after we fiiled our application but we did submit the application at that time and we were scared 2 add him with out his birth certificate so we sent the application with out him we added only a latter stating my wife's pregnancy situation
now we have his birth certificate we can add him
i think this is the right time to add him with the application
i still need{you guys} ur advice if iam messing my process

Okay I have done my crying. This is so stressful. I made a mistake.

On the website it says that your medical exam will be required after you submit your application. I kept seeing here in this forum that everybody sent their medicals before handing in their application. Since I live outside of Canada I figured maybe that was inland.

Anyways I have already written to the embassy, probably tomorrow I will get an answer. I went ahead and called the DMP to see if he might enlighten me with a solution. He clarified the procedure for me for sponsor applications. The upside is that he can give me the paper that is needed to be filed along with the application within the day. I could fed ex everything the next day.

My question is should I just wait because maybe CPC already sent my application package back to me. Or should I risk it and send it by next Monday it could be in Mississauga by Wednesday Nov 9.

CPC Mississauga received my FAM APplication on Oct 14.

Bad day today but tomorrow will be better!!!

I did the exact same thing – I just contacted the embassy that will process our application and they said we can do the medical any time during the application process.
I was wondering what you ended up doing and if it worked out for you.

Yeah kelKel, is really quiet at the moment, I thought we'd see some more action last week, but not a lot going on.

I am finally getting my passport over to UK via Fedex tomorrow, will arrive on Thursday then a friend is going to send it down to London and then receive it back. Although now I'm thinking about it, not sure why I don't just send it directly to CIC London and get them just to return it to my friend in UK for her to forward onto me. Seems a bit more straight forward really doesn't it. Oh well, I'll go and change all the paperwork again now. That does makes sense yeah?

Am hoping to get visa back in next three weeks when my husband has some time off work and we can then drive down to the border and flagpole.

Awesome Mandi! How cold it in Alberta. It was freezing here today and I bent over to get something and my back was in spasms Will stay home from work tomorrow hopefully it gets better soon.

Its really cold in Alberta, around -25 and then -35ish with wind chill. Its bizarre, I've never experienced anything like this. Last time I was here it was summer and really really warm.

Once we get my passport back, we're going to 'land' and then will be able to go over to Ontario to check out my husband's house, his last tenants have left it a right mess - see if we decide to live there or rent it out again and stay in Alberta.
