hi guys ,congrats to all those that has been approved i hope my hubby gets approved soon waiting without an answer is like staying in the desert without water hehe.. cic received our appication on the 12/10/2010, cant wait for a good news. my hubby checks his email and letter box daily, i wounder do cic email or send a letter immediately one gets approved.. do they email both individual or just the sponsor only.
And my husband cant not log into E cas is till not showing any information about our application yet.

Hi!

They will send the sponsor a letter. They don't send any emails on sponsorship approval stages.
Later in the processing they contact the applicant through mail, email or phone, depending on the VO.

I send my app inland. When is the first time I could expect to hear anything from them? According to the tracking the package has been delivered there..

when was it delivered.
Plus the times lines of inland are really very different from outland.
as per CIC its 8-9 months for initial assessment. not sure you will get any updates before that.

This is so crazy. If I knew that the waiting times were That much longer I would have applied through London (Outland). I feel tricked by the immigration officer that told me to apply inland.. What if they will reject the app? Then I would have waited 9 month for nothing

October Applicants,

Looks like CIC is not working at all. Looks like they are totally Idle, No answer if you call customer service, they even did not update processing time which they did twice last week. Progress is disappointing, we been very unlucky they have not approved any case after first week of October.
It might be bad timing since that media report came out this week!!
Cant say anything, still waiting .......
Nothing we can do other then waiting.....

2 weeks back they updated very late.

To everyone that is looking to ECAS/CIC website for completely accurate and or timely information just take it with a grain of salt. We have a withdrawn application showing still processing, so according to ECAS we have 2 apps processing lol. Also some peoples ecas dont even update to after they have landed.

so hard to wait but i can't to anything but wait patiently anyways..lol
