i have not sticked the bar code sticker on the envelope but only on the passport.is it really necessary put that on envelope too?
i thought imm file number is to be kept secret as they mention when we check our ecas status.i m really worried now.pls help..
 
We also lived at our in-laws..we had them write a letter that they signed in front of a notary public
 
Statutory declarations (i.e. a notarized letter) from at least two different people who know you were cohabiting there for more than a year continuously would be a very good addition.

We actually sent about 6 letters from family/friends stating this. It's so frustrating! Hopefully another letter from father in law and receipts for board paid to him will be enough.
 
Dilneet asked a Q. and i think almost ppls avoid his Q. ...............

as Embassy asked his passport on same day as they start work on his file ...;... what is the chances about visa or interview now?

Look Dilneet, embassy is same if they ask ppr to all so we can say some embassy ask pp on starting time ....
but we have many ppls Included Minku Rachel who dealing with same embassy but still they r waiting to hear from embassy why?

i think it's depend on file system when file transfer from CIC M with some code and remark.
have you seen on form like R31 R34 kind of many markings.........

well any one have idea?

It is the process in New Delhi to request passports at the beginning of procesing. Same with Manila. It does not mean they approved your application in one day. You may still have to have an interview, but perhaps not. You know better than us the details of your relationship and whether there are any cause for red flags that may require an interview.

It also does not mean that background and medicals are okay. Next you will hear from them one of 3 things:

1) request for addional documents
2) interview date scheduled
3) Passport with Visa (and hopefully it is this one!)

hey rocky636, ND started processing your file last week right(as per ECAS)? Did u get PPR from them? I saw "in process" just yesterday and even if they had sent I have to wait for some more days to get it since I am at southern part of india.

I think New delhi sends PPR to almost all the applicants as soon as they start processing,but some get it fast some late due to postal delays. This is my opinion.

so i think now he will hear about more documents or interview right? or may be he will get straight he's PP with visa?Dilneet with PP did they ask about PRV fee also? or you already paid? if not so may be they will ask about pay PR fee..... any idea guys?

Few Bar Code stickers are also attached.

It has also asked me to submit Police Clearance, if not already submitted; Right of Permanent Resident Fee, if not already paid.

Sorry, I meant passport with visa, not passport request!

And yes, I forget that some people do not pay the RPRF at the beginning, so if you haven't paid that fee, there will be a request for that.
 
@rocky what is R31 R34??

I understand that ND asks for pp right away...but still could ask for interview....i would guess they would ask for DOCS when they open the app and send PP request....would make sense?

as per me, i still have no update in ecas...although my file was transferred on JUNE 24...and ppl after we have updates!

@Rachel - i think u should hear back something (in mail) by next week if not this week!

by the way we have already paid PRPF and submitted medicals so i just sent my passport.
 
Hi Minku and Dilneet if u look at Ur forms there is some section that have to leave for office use and there is some code marking like R31 R32 etc etc its something like idea for local cic that what kind of document match have and all stuff is attached with file or not..... i am not sure but i think they r connected with that coding any how and it's officially code....

well see guys what's next and dont be worry wait and watch :) plus its depend how many KG proof you have send them for review lol plus they have to read that all pages plus back ground check too :)


best of luck every one i just wish we all get our visa soon coz stay away to ur life partner it's like a punishment ..... :(

Dilneet: Please do not worry! Infact on their letter, there was no reference of the attached bar codes too. I think I went overboard and put up the sticker on the envelope! Cz as u mentioned, it should not be disclosed like that! Now im thinking abt it too now! :-\ :-\
Not sure which option to pick! but its definitely not a huge concern! Lets just hope for the best! We'll be fine =)

Sorry for the late response! I had gone out for a little celebration in lieu of PPR =) everything became so lifeless n boring until this happened! This surely stirred things up for me! Im praying for all of us! Keeping my fingers crossed!
