We have posted our application on 10th of may ,no news yet, however we did receive a refund!!! Payment was made twice ,because 1st payment was made to the wrong office. How it works with spousal passport request, can be done quicker in person at the visa office? mail option can be slow sometimes...

After a few road bumps, we should be dropping it off with Fedex in Mississauga today!! It's a holiday today so hopefully the package will get there latest by wednesday. Our clock will start ticking!

I sent my daughters Citizenship Certificate Application to Nova Scotia today and FedEx assured me that even though it is a holiday they would still be able to do overnight service provided it doesnt get hung up at the border in immigration (where our PR app sat for 24 hours).

I just mailed my sponshorship application today 26 May. I am doing a Spouse application and my spouse lives in Quebec, I hope this will not slow up the application too much. I will post when I get any updates

finally sent our application may 25, 2010 and cpc received it may 26, 2010 at 8:53 am. now the count begins and my tummy's experiencing cramps more than ever.

Hello everyone.I am glad to see so many May applications.My application was send om May 6th by Fedex it was recieved and sign for on May 7th.I have tried several times to log on to ECAS but i guess it is too soon.I am praying that i hear something soon.I am a little worry because i sponsor my first husband back in 2001.We had two kids together at the time.I do hope it does not affect my application.My visa office is Port of Spain.I met my now husband in 2007 and we got marry april 7th of this year.His son who is 17 years old will be accompanying him to canada if all goes well.

I was checking the April post and people that submitted their application back in April 15 started to get their approval letter this week so i guess there is a big delay. However this will give us an idea when our applications will be open mid-end of June then the real game will start. :-[
