The way I read it, It could take up to 3-4 months to review my documents...I am now waiting for CPC-M to tell CHC-London that they have my receipt...and my fees should be processed by the end of September..the IO has more than one Application they are processing at the same time so I think it means by the time CPC-M lets London know the IO may be tied up with another application and I will have to wait my turn! I dont think they wait for the fees to clear before proceeding just cant issue my PR Visa!

I know somebody else that was in the same position with London, her husbands fees were requested 10 June she paid right away and his E-cas was updated to show medicals received 2 weeks later...another 2 weeks later Decision made..PPR was requested exactly 1 month after the fees had been requested!! And then another 3 week wait for the Visa to be issued..thats 6 weeks from the request for RPRF...Her husband is Landing on Thursday!! So I think when they say 3-4 months to review the additional documents is a worst case scenario!

oh ok mine is processing in buffalo and itll b a while until they request the RPRF just wanted general info if the process takes longer becasue of the fees not being paid thanks!:)

It CAN take longer your fees take 6 months to process and you have to wait for CPC-M to tell Buffalo you paid.there could be a delay in them doing that..I would recommend you pay them ASAP!

6 months to process? I read on CIC website that it was approximately a 2 month delay when you don't pay your RPRF upfront.

There can be a 2 month delay..I think thats just a precaution as things can crop up to delay an application..such as things getting lost, miscommunication etc..I know people that Paid RPRF Promptly when the fee was requested and they have landed already..there was no delay for them..If you dont pay the RPRF ASAP then there are delays and you can be refused PR if it takes longer than 60 days to pay especially as you can ask for a loan if you really dont have the money

called CIC its not really a 2 month delay it just depends whenu send the payment

You make the payment
Mississauga goes thru mail and receives it
updates your file
then informs your visa office its been paid

so it can take not even up to a month they told me....

I have already paid my fee Saturday, the stamp on my receipt is Dated Monday 16 August..and Was emailed and Faxed to CHC-London and mailed to CPC-M Priority mail yesterday so should be there today! :D CPC-M just needs to update my file I wrote URGENT RPRF on the envelope so they know what it is! So I am hoping its only going to take a few weeks!

:) hopefully it will im paying mine this week as well.... they havent asked me to but better earlier than later this way they wont have to send me a letter requesting for it to b paid

I was hoping I had paid mine before the request..but I guess CHC - London had the same Idea lol and I didnt quite make it..oh well at leat I know something is happening they must have made the "RIGHT" decision on our relationship for them to request the fees... :) I cant see Immigration requesting fees if they are going to decline my PR and go through the trouble of a refund..unless there is a problem with my medicals that I dont know about!

on the sponsor guideline im not sure if you ever saw the little table the 2ncd to last step is paying the RPRF fee! its on the last page of the PDF file so your really close!!! i wish mine was processed in London hahahaha :P

Ooooo No I didnt notice that...When I called CIC They told me I had the option of being processed in Buffalo..but then I noticed the processing times are longer...so chose to take a chance on London hoping I wasn't called for an interview! :P

I checked it out..thank you so much...so this means I am so close...The only thing between me and PR...I Cant wait to have my financial independence again my Husband has had to support me for 5 Long years!! And I CANT wait to be able to work again.. is CPC-M telling London I have paid my fees..then they can request my passport...

There is nothing on my E-Cas about medicals being received by London..Perhaps they do that bit after the fees have been paid? Most importantly looks like NO additional documents (I sent them about a million anyway) and NO interview for me..keep your fingers crossed for me guys :P

Thank you..

I am now wondering how CIC do the background checks? Do they use election roll information etc? Contact HM Revenue & Customs?
