Are there any March folks going through Quebec? Looking at the January thread, it seems that folks applying to Quebec got their sponsorship approved a bit later than folks not going through Quebec. Seems like it took ~2 months instead of the 4-5 weeks I've seen for others.

Just wondering as we applied on March 3rd and still nothing on eCAS. I tried phoning today and once I reached the sponsorship section, the message said "...all of our officers are busy...we cannot answer your call at this time. Please try again later..." Erghhhh!

On a positive note we finally got the FBI clearance! Now we just need a case number so we can forward it to Mississauga. :-\

I hope I am right!!! This waiting is weighing down on my nerves. We just bought a house over in Quebec City and we want to move in by the end of June. The way it's going now I'm not sure we'll be able to. We live in California right now and I don't want to have to leave my husband behind while we wait for his visa.

I contacted Buffalo yesterday via email and here's what they responded:

I hope you have a good news soon. By the way thanks for your information that Buffalo is now working on the application up to Mar-10. My file was transfered to Buffalo on Mar-29 so I guess I have to wait another 2-3 weeks that they will start reviewing my application.

Thanks for sharing your email from Buffalo, I guess that means it will be a while until they have our applications. The ones they received around March 10 must have been submitted to CPC-Miss a month or so earlier than that, minimum. But this is all good to know!

My husband is in Montreal, I'm visiting right now for a few months on a visitor record (my job in the US lets me work from here).

Let me know if you hear anything from CPC-M, I will let you know if I do, too. We should be about a week apart!

AAA, I'm so nervous
Got the call this morning from immigration officer. She asked about my employment - now I'm confused - the thing is that I was the employee of US company, and now self-employed working for the same company. I attached the letters from that company with my application but those were dated in 2009 (read on the forum that should work). So, she asked me to send the new letter to her, then put me on hold to check if she needs something else from me, and then told that she will call me later. And nobody calls me anymore. And now I don't know - to send or not to send, and if so - WHERE?
don't know what to do - any ideas??? please...

If you haven't recieved the letter that the sponsor part is apporoved then you should send it to Mississagua since that is where the application still is. I would try to fax it over, but I don't know what the number is.

Yey, finally got through to speak with the officer (888#), told her about my concerns and got the great news that my file was transferred to Warsaw today
She said that there is on file my phone conversation with the officer, but no need to send anything now (probably the letters were misplaced....or else )
Phew, ...now another waiting begins
