I am wondering, is there anybody who has sent passports after medical to New Delhi for Family Class (Parents and Grandparents) Category.

I have sent mine in June and still waiting to hear from them...

I am new to this thread. Me and my wife got the P.R. visa and now I am going to Canda in first week og august and my wife will come after 1-2 months. NOw my question is, can I apply for Sponsership Visa for my dependent Mother immidiatly after reaching to Canada? Because it will take 31 months to complete process. Please advise me....

Just so you're aware, it's going to take longer than 31 months to sponsor your mother. Sponsoring parents is a two stage process. The first stage of processing takes place in Mississauga and currently takes 45 months. The second stage will be in New Delhi and currently takes around 31 months.

Hi Everyone..

You need to make income for at least 1 year to sponsor anybody plus the waiting times are increasing day by day for parents and grandparents.. wait kills!!!!

yes ,
we got med req and send passports to ND in june 2011 in parents class sponsorship.
i M Dependent son in this catagory.
I m wondering to know that over 30 spouses-(parents) got their passport req on 18 may-2011 from CHC ND
now howmuch time they take to stamp maple leaf on our passports

b coz you pp were there at embassy since 9 june
ours were since 17 june
we have to go ca before 8 sept.
b coz my nephwu shrey,is in india .he is 4 yr old his last date in ind is 10 sept.
so we just have t go there b4 this period.
i m worried pl update yor status tilll u got visa

i sent my application in august 2009 to CHC New Delhi
i recieved medical and passport request in last week of may 2011 nd sent all docs on 8th june 2011
hav nt got any cal yet...........new delhi office website still showing old dates dn't noe hw much tym it ll take 4 complete processing>>>>>>>hope 2 get it soon!!!!!!

hi my parents done medical in june and send all documents include passport on 24th june 2011and still waiting from new delhi visa office.they requested on 18th may 2011.
