Letter was issued on 16th Feb. and letter is received on 18th Feb.
E-CAS still not activated.

Actually, I'm glad to hear some other people don't have their ecas working yet either! I'm hoping to hear something early next week

Because my husband lives in Mississauga 2 minutes away from CIC office and no news yet. We are getting seriously worried, plus there is a holiday on Monday, so no mail until Tuesday or Wednesday.

My sponsor lives in Toronto.

I guess decision regarding your application must have been made and letter is on its way to you.
Its just matter of delay in posting your letter by VO assigned to your application.

Since there is no E-CAS update for anybody for the last few days, you can not get any information regarding your application. My E-CAS is also not yet activated. I guess E-CAS of all of will get activated togather by 1st working day of the next week.

But I understand...wait is killing......

Since getting my email saying i was approved as my husbands sponsor, I received a letter on Friday stating that I had submitted original and/or certified documents with my application and that they have made copies of these documents to my file and are returning the originals to me for safe keeping. Included with that letter was the original of the Sponsorship Agreement signed by my husband and I ...Both the email and the letter were from the same immigration officer ...

E-CAS also sent me a second notification that there was a letter on its way ...Upon checking my application status on the CIC Mississauga site, it was not only showing Decision Made, which was the email I received regarding the sponsorship being approved but now it was also showing the update of my address that I called into them last week

I am the sponsor, my husband is Portuguese. We live just outside of Edmonton, Alberta, so the mail will take a bit longer to get here. Its Family Day in Alberta, its a provincial holiday here, so the mail is supposed to still be delivered tomorrow. Hopefully we'll get something then!! It would be a FANTASTIC way to celebrate "Family" day!!

Luckily my husband is living here with me, so I'm not having to be apart like many of you, I am very grateful for that!!

I'd check your mail tomorrow - Family day is a provincial holiday, and Canada post is a federal corporation - I looked it up online and the mail is still supposed to be delivered on Monday!!
