Hello everyone!

Sent in my application CPC-M Feb. 18th!

Can you confirm on which postal address application was sent?
I sent mine on spouse application address written on cic site with p.o.box but some people says we need to send on courier address and not pobox. Anyone can confirm?

Hey Zeeshan nothing can be more reliable than the following official link of CIC
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/3900E6.asp
according to which P.O BOX is the right address to send for the principle applicant living outside Canada, so did I.

so dude relax, sit back and enjoy the ride, the thrilling turbulence is yet to come ;)

My application (inland) was arrived at the CIC office on Feb 17th. I wish I can get my open work permit soon!

Hi everyone,

I am on for the joyride with you. ;D

Cheers and good luck to you all.

Hi Compuadnet,

I think you already have maximum possible info up till now so do all Feb applicants.

Application received: 4th Feb'10 @ CIC-M & nothing on E-Cas yet
Hopefully E-cas timeline would be updated today (Tuesday) and if not today then within this week I guess

All the best & keep sharing updates

Howdy Saggit,

Yeah I figured maybe someone got lucky and had it done in 3 weeks like some have had recently in the past. was just curious. ::)

All the best to you too.

This thread should start picking up a bit in the next few days. I am looking forward to it.

Cheers.

Hey compud thanks :) yea dude you are right some Jan session people really got lucky to have it within 3 weeks...but that just a take off, the things which matters the most is landing ;)
Yea I too hope this thread would be rushed in few days as timeline for Feb start appearing on E-cas

btw what's your visa office?

Hey Saggit,

Application coming out of Sao Paulo Brazil.

you?

I noticed some big changes in the region Specific Form for Latin America... new revision is Feb 2nd... my application was received Feb 2nd.

New form asking that accompanying children have a notarized signature of ex spouse to let them leave the country. Glad my wife got her EX to sign and notarize a document stating he was OK with his son leaving the country.

The big change I noticed is the fact that they removed that applications from Brazil with Portuguese documents IE passport, criminal record etc etc didnt have to have them translated..... now that is nowhere to be found and says just english and french...

I sent all the documentation not translated as it was not a requirement in the last revision of the document.

I wonder what will happen now.

Hope they dont request them to be translated now.
