What did they tell you about that letter?? When they will sent you the letter again ?? they have to wait until they get your letter back?
for me they said after they get my letter back ( return to them) they will sent it again So, I have to wait till that time...

WOW! Mondays are my 12hr work days, so I didn't get a chance to update as quick as I'd have liked to. CONGRATS StillSmilin & Buddhadimple on the Sponsorship Approval and to Kess for getting the letter!! We had so much silence, it's great to see progress. Next come AOR's! ;D

Hi LoveThai, I was able to log on e-cas Aug 19th and it said a letter was sent to me that same day. So I gave it a few days maybe there was a delay in the mail or something. But the people from the July thread have received their letter 3 days after they were approved. So I called CPC-M on Aug 31st and told them that I never received my letter in the mail. The address they have on file is correct, I asked them to confirm this on the phone. They told me to call back Sept 9 if I still dont have the letter. Sept 9 came still no letter. It shouldn't take long to send a letter from Mississauga to Scarborough. I called them last Friday, Sept 10th and told them I never got the letter. They said they will resend, so i'm hoping this week... i'll see that precious letter

CIC made a mistake to send the letter to us but, they asked us to call again on the 23 and I hope they will resend to us again either.
And Did they told you when they will sent it?? or just told they will do it..but, don't know when???

Hopefully you and me will get a new one soon...

When I called on Sept 9th, they said they will send me the letter that day. I was hoping to get it today but, my mailbox was empty. So i'll wait til the end of this week. I was approved to sponsor my husband but I need to see it in writing lol. One of the agent I spoke to on the phone congratulated me, which I thought was very nice heheh. But I want the letter! ;D

Acknowledgement of Receipt. It's the letter that the visa office sends you once they start processing your PR application.

No, it comes after the sponsorship letter. It will come from the VISA office in your home country once they start processing your application.
Sponsorship application and the CIC office that processes it is a completely seperate process and will happen before your ap is even sent to the visa office.

The timeline goes like this: App mailed by applicant -> sponsorship approved (letter sent by CPC-M) + app fowarded to visa office -> visa office starts processing (AOR sent by visa office) -> possible requests for other documentaton/interview -> PPR (Pass port request) sent by visa office -> passport w/visa returned -> Landing!
