Thanks Nyssa, I had a 'Spiro' moment so I called CIC to confirm if I had been approved or what and they said my file was sent to Pretoria and has been Approved on the in-Canada process. Woot woot...

Hi!! We were finally able to get on ecas today! I tried logging on after I saw Perfect's message!
"We received your application to sponsor XXXXX on August 12, 2010.
We sent you a letter on September 10, 2010 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."
WOO HOO! I guess I don't know for sure that it is an approval... but I have a good feeling! I'm in the U.S. right now visiting my hubby so I can't call CIC, but I'll be back in Canada by the end of this week, so maybe there will be a letter waiting for me!
One question, what do I do about them spelling my middle name incorrectly on ecas? Do I wait and see if the letter sent to me is also incorrect? They are just missing the last letter in my middle name.

Us too! I saw Perfect's message too and tried with the Receipt number:

Congratulations to all who got approved today, im with you on this one its such a relief. Everything else shouldn't be that nerve wrecking from this point. To those of you still waiting just hang in there im so positive more of us will have heard something by the end of the week. And YES the 'Spiro' moment is highly infectious loool.
