That is very strange, I suggest you call New Delhi (but they are very hard to get a hold of over the phone)

I suggest you email them and explain your situation to the.

Good luck and do not panic, they have your passport.. just they don't know about it, and they will find it.

Dear All

Please provide response urgently,I submitted my son's passport on the 27 March 2011, in reply to a CSE I received a confirmation email that the CHC is in possession of the Original Passport on the 5th April 2011, today I received another letter again dated 5 April 2011 asking us to submit my Son's passport, I am confused and angry, please could one the boarders please provide a response a contact number where I can speak and sort this issue or if any other way whicr sfe elarders feel is quicker please suggest.

Not sure abt talking to them on the phone, they never talk to anyone.

However in the past i have seen people get 2 PPR's...some got one after they sent the PP to delhi..it is all a mixup and it should be fine.
Send them an email and tell them you had already sent them your sons PP.

I'm not sure abt the date...have to ask him again...Guessing might be around Apr 14-15 ..
I wasn't on this forum when I sent the application to be proactive
It's not one of the documents that they ask for in the application...
But I've seen ND usually asking for it...which is a sign of interview!

Happy for you..but the question which many are wondering here is " was ecas updated about the interview date"?
You say decision was made first, did you see anything in ecas about the interview line or was it just the letter which asked you to go to the interview?

This is the first instance i am seeing this..ecas not updated about the interview date but the applicant received a letter for interview..

which is scary as now we can not really trust ecas 100% when it comes to scheduling an interview..
