Thanks mikoo, I want to submit the applicatiob by 23rd of Feb, so can I still send additional photographs and the photocopies of entry exit, and original boarding passes when I return back from India ? or don't send if not requested again.

thts good DNT,,,,whn u will be India with ur wife click lots and lots of photographs send thm to delhi with photocopies ur entry exit stamping of ur passport,,,,so tht ur wife will not face any prob of delay on the name of documents request or something,,,,GOODLUCK

Which means they got Visa for sure.

Hi Guys,

On 14th Feb my ECAS status changed to Complete(i hv sent my PP on 24th Dec)...
Which means processing is over n they ll send me my PP back soon...
but today is 17th n till i hv not received ma PP.
Geet has a same story...
but i m afraid by seeing guddunanda's status...
as he sent his PP on 11Th feb(which is friday) n now his status showing COMPLETE....
is it possible that ND ppl will process someone's file soo fast??(i think in hrs they ppl gave his result,coz as he sent his file on 11th(friday) n his status changed to "complete" on monday/Tuesday...
Is it possible??or its some typing mistake??

I am very sorry, by mistake i wrote 11 Feb instead of 11Jan'2011.
My timeline is as follows:
My husband applied from Canada: 31 August'2010
CHC, New Delhi received application on October 12, 2010
Started processing on November 30, 2010
Received PP request on December 7,2010
submitted PP on 11Jan'2011
status showing COMPLETE on 14Feb'2011
still waiting for my PP (((
are you sure Complete means Approved?

hey DNT,,,
i assume tht right now u dont have post marriage outing photographs/honeymoon photograpgh,,,regarding tht i m telling u,,, initially u have to show all ur entry exits /boarding passes while applying but tht will be the proof for ur marriage time u came here and went back to canada,,,if u r unable to submit these post marriage /honeymoon pics thn whn u will come back here tht time u can directly send thm to ND ,,,bcoz if u r unable to submit it thn they will ask for theses things for sure!!!!! tht will be time taking thing....

so i said whn u will be here send thm said documents tht will be helpful for nd to proceed fast,,,,and ur wife will get visa quickly

I see that makes sense, I'm planning on doint that, thanks, also when I send additional stuff to them what do I put on the envelope, and do I have to write a letter, (how do I and my spose ID our self to ND?)

Many folks are talking about the Ecas Trackers out there designed by some guy, I would not recommend using it, though there are no bad and negative thoughts about that tracker but still I would not give my personal information on any website other than cic.gc.ca

What does tracker does is it sends an email if there is any change in status, but to see the change you still have to check your email right ? so why bother do it, the time you will spend to check your email is the same as to login to the CIC.GC.CA website and check the ECAS status

That's what I think , how about you all ?

Ecas Trackers suck anyways. I imagine all of us in this blog to check ECAS at least 2 times a day hoping something good happens to us? we are all so excited and neverous to see the change and we login all the time...ECAS tracker may maybe work for ppl who sponsor parents/grandparents when the update happens after 5-7 years...maybe it will help in that case :
furturmore this is all CHC ND fault as they don maintain their website properly, if they did we know when and how to check it..they claim they do, but they do it at ramdom times which makes us check at all random times.

I think New Delhi will automatically ask for the details for foreign travel when file reaches New Delhi or you can call CIC call centre and see if they can wait till you send them that foreign travel page, they will guide you the best, It's a tricky one

@ Panda,

My status changed today and says ' In process". Says they started to process the application from Feb 15. So ND is finally updating stuff..let me know if yours changed as well.
