GOT A CALL FROM CIC-ND TO COME A PICK UP THE PASSPORT. THIS IS BECAUSE MY MEDICALS WERE EXPIRING IN 2 WEEKS (YES I HAD GIVEN THEM IN AUG 2011)
the agent asked if could land in Canada before they expire, then they will process and to come and pick up the passport personally from New Delhi. Going tomorrow to pick it up.
My ecas status never showed in process and is still showing application received. will update once get the passport in hand and see the visa.

If you asked for electronic notes, there's no impact on your application timeline since they only need to access their database records. But if you asked for a copy of the physical file, then yes, they would pull it out of the queue, copy, send you the stuff, and replace it, which would cost you some time.

I did ask for electronic notes, so thats good to hear! I was beginning to regret ordering them.

Interesting! If there is one thing I would have done different for my application would have been doing the medicals way in advance! This way we can force CIC to complete the process within our desired time frame! It may work or it may not but i have seen so many cases who were delayed but then forced to complete by CIC ( cic calls in these cases)

No an inquiry from MP do not delay the process a bit. It sometimes actually reminds CIC to get the application done with..

For a Feb 13th applicant, they have come back to the mp saying the file is waiting for a review..so i suspect either the same for u and rest of us in between OR your case should have made a progress and done with the initial review and should be in the final review stage..

lets see what your mp comes back with. Did you apply for Notes?

got GCMS notes
officer wrote summary of our relationship from first day until marriage and said the couple appears compatible in age, education, marital status and language.
reasons given for interview are -
- TRV rejection before applied for spousal sponsorship
- sponsor didnt return to Canada at date given in forms
-VO not indicated on the medical report
-No biodata on the back of photo-id
it looks ok, i think i should not worry
some suggestions please
