Hello,

A question about submitting photos (wedding, honeymoon, previous visits, etc.) along with the immigration application -- it occurred to me that it would be easier to organize the photos if I printed them on 8.5x11 paper and captioned them with the date, location and names of persons pictured, instead of printing traditional 4x6 photos printed. Has anyone done this and did it work out all right? Is there any reason why this would be a bad idea?

Not a bad idea. I captioned and put the date of each pic on my pictures. My lawyer scanned pictures on one sheet and had like 2-3 pictures on one paper

These guys are used to photos..I didnt take the chance I printed the photos and then pasted in a A4 Sheet and labelled them...

Speaking of the photos, I had applied to CIC -M, the first time they sent my package back coz I didnt sign one of the paper, when I signed and sent the package to them, I forgot to attach the photos package :-[ and they had also forwarded my file to CIC-ND. When I tried to send it separately, but cic-m called up and said that my package was already sent to India and returned my photos
My wife got the ppr too and she has submitted her pp (been 2 months). Now should we send the photos package to ND? or wait for the VO to pick up and query us? :-\

It is better to send photos before they request it. Waiting for them to request additional proofs will push your file back until next date and further delay the decision.

As you said you did not include any of your photos, chance are very high that they will ask for them as evidence. I would definitely go ahead and mail 'em to ND.

While my application is "In Process" status, can I send new and additional evidences to prove my marriage. These are those evidences which have cropped up post submission of our application such as travel to another country, birthday celebrations in our family, insurance policy that my husband bought for me etc

My husband had donehis medicals end of April 2010. So i guess that has expired too...Medicals received status came on Ecas early december and what does that mean God aloneknows. Has anyone got DM and not been asked to do medical even if its expired?

my medical already expired on 30th dec2011, i did it on 30th dec 2010...
medical always valid for 1yr and urs medical still valid for 4months, i hope u ll get ur visa before it expires!!!!!!!!

Thanks Kuku, will do the same. Now that holiday mood is off I hope they work hard next week, coz the week after, they are going to be back with Indian holidays
