Please don’t get this wrong I am happy for everyone who have gotten there PPR or visa stamped. Just wondering what is going on, this is my timeline. my application was received: April 2, 2020. Biometrics Enrollment: December 8, 2020. Medical Received: May 10, 2021 that was the last update, since I have not heard anything from them, we called our MP but it was a waste of time. Have you tried calling IRCC? Or raising webform since they said they give priority to those whose application has passed the normal processing time?

You're welcome. If you don't hear from them in another 2 weeks, please raise another one. Then tell your spouse in Canada to put a call through to them till you get something about your application, It has passed your processing time already. Have you tried getting GCMS notes? If you haven't, please do. Just keep trying all the available ways to reach out to them.

I can say they are similar cos I was asked about my husband's work and past relationships. I was also asked about my current occupation and address, when we had our wedding, what I intend to do when I get to Canada, what attracted me to my husband.

My interview was less than 20 minutes so she didn't really ask much.
Thanks for the heads up

I figured out something about IRCC’s process with my application.

it’s not compulsory to submit your passport to the VO that issues your RFV letter, especially if you’re not in the country where the VO is.

My letter came from CPC Ottawa on October 6 and I’m in Nigeria. Tried contacting them numerously, filled various web forms and didn’t get any reasonable reply.
I decided to send it to Accra because the expiry date was close and it got approved.

So if anyone finds themselves In the same situation, don’t hesitate to send your passport to the nearest VAC immediately.

Good Luck.
