Thanks @Akissi18 @Dimilitantey. It is really tiring checking and seeing no changes. Please is there a way you know that they haven’t done any PPR request lately? Also you mentioned to get ready with my MP... please what is that and how do I do it. Did the application myself but still learning as I go along.

MP = Member of Parliament
It's advised when an application exceeds processing time to contact MP.
To find out who your MP is visit: https://www.ourcommons.ca/en
under FIND, click the Member tab, and enter your postal code. It should populate with your MP's contact information, save it for reference.
When contacting MP in the future, you'll provide info re: your file, and they'll send you a consent form to be signed, in order for them to connect with AVO on your behalf.

You welcome, oh I see Akissi18 provided the details for the MP. Is just basically involving the Member of Parliament within your area code (Person contacting MP must be within Canada)with the possibility of influencing your file based on its current status. About getting ready was just to know him and contact him/her after it exceeds a year you don't need contact MP now though.

As for the updates honestly most of the updates are from either within this platform or other monthly threads. Last PPR was in June so this month I guess there would be a sign once there is PPR. HOPEFULLY

Don't you worry we all learning and have learnt alot from this platform we are all in same boat sailing. AVO can teach some one patience I swear. LOL

There's only one individual that I know of in this thread who received PPR in June (June 25, to be exact), and that is @Goodiesville.

@Goodiesville have you received your passport back? You've been quiet.

Oh yh forgot this date of his. Knowing AVO don't think he received it yet roughly takes average minimum 3 weeks if within Ghana so if he/she was in Nigeria maybe a bit longer depending on the mode of passport submission. Hopefully there is a response from HIM/HER to give hope.

I created an account that's gckey before we got AOR1. I've been trying to link that account but it's not possible. Or do I need to create another one?

For the question about number of applicants, add the sponsor in that number. Never put 1. It is 2 or more if there are other dependents.

After trying all options above and still not linking, notify IRCC via webform and give it a try after few days. In order for me to link mine to, i tried everything but I still wasn't able to link it till I notified IRCC via webform and in 2 days I could link it. I can't be 100% sure if they did anything, but after you try all above and it fails try this to.

Oh my bad, I do not get the notifications anymore of new responses.

We have not received our passport back.

My update is:
Passport sent to VFS Abuja: June 28.
Passport received by VFS Abuja and sent to AVO: June 30.
AVO receipt of passport confirmation: July 14.

I was unable to link our application for months and only used E-CAS to view updates. So after I changed the number of family members from 1 to 2, it linked to my online account.

However I noticed that while the update in E-CAS changed from "Application Received" to "Decision made" on the day that he received his pre-arrival email (13th July), the online account is still showing "application in progress" for both background check and final decision. So it guess the online account doesn't update on time.
I also compared this with my old express entry account, and I noticed that my background check was completed on the same day I received my PPR, also the date of my final decision was the day my passport was returned with my visa.

Not sure if anyone had similar experience.
