tender and jay9132, it appears they speak in code and if you don't know, the notes may look like nothing to you. Here's a thread that goes into detail on it. The guy who wrote it is "retired" from this site, but if you email him, he may respond:

Oh yes aside from prayer we called he IRCC minister office and my love and I wrote a letter which we emailed citing legislation as to why our file should be attended to. We also mentioned statement of the previous minister from the announcement made Dec 7, 2016 and how equality applies to us ALL. I am Canadian citizen by birth but im originally from DRC and I am also a child of God. The word says faith without works is dead. I will probably never know if our letter had an impact but after sending it Monday ppr granted thursday. throughout this process we prayed sure. but we did action too. just last year Canada processed 25 000 Syrians in some few months. this journey shudnt take long. it doesnt hurt to remind AVO of ur file they too are human and the load is many. simply call or send an email. and dont call shouting. be respectful, be sure of what you saying and stick to the facts. sometimes we from Africa we need to be mindful of our emotions. the most recent example: Boatswife, sent them a friendly reminder and then within minutes recieved PPR.

I applied Nov 2nd and file transfered 24th of same month and am the principal applicant. My dear I really pray and hope so too cos this is no easy process even though hubby isn't too far away from me.

In all this I can only thank God for wisdom. Someday I'll share my application journey maybe to encourage intending applicants.

Hello house please this Cic gcms note is it for real? Hmm, because I ordered for mine in February and it came just yesterday but nothing really is on the note. The last time they updated was in September 20, 2016. honestly I'm confused. Medical granted nothing else. The so scanty u no. Every other thing not started. I applied August 4th, 2016.

Tender, thank you for sharing this information with us. I was told that if your file is not assigned to an officer then it is still in queue and it is still not reviewed. Not started can mean 2 things. 1 ) The officer in Mississauga briefly looked st the applicant file and found no red flags or 2) eligibility has yet to be checked by AVO. Pls check the file location. is it marked as PA or Case assessement? hope you get answers soon.

Tender that is great news! !! PA means Put away and that mean your file is collecting dust. but as u shared it's in the right place Case assessment to determine elegibility. this is where they determine if ur marriage/relationship is genuine or not. Yea my application is 7month. These guys are not serious at all.
