Thank you Tender and Egwejemu. I know God will not allow us to go through more than what we can bare. He is a faithful God and I know he sees and he knows all that we go through. His word says that is not good for man to be alone. We are hoping and praying to be reunited with our spouce . My love and I have committed this application into the hands of God from the beginning. Our relationship has always been in his hands. He is thr author and finisher of our faith and He didn't being us this close to leave us. My faith is strong and I truly believe that He is an on time God. I believe I will see my husband again sooner rather than later. I hope we will all get our hearts desires and the application results would be in our favor . May our strength in the LORD be renewed like Eagles each day. In Jesus name, amen.

which province, welcome. I have sponsered my naija husband as well and we are on the
last leg of the race. We are waiting niw for passport to come back.

Hi again. When I linked my application to the online service, I was able to see that my loves application was opened, the review was in progress, that no additional documents were required at this time. it also showed that my love passed his medicals. It stated that the background check has not yet started. I linked my application September 9 and that was when it showed my love passed his medicals. the status has not changed since then. I believe that it would soon.

I'm not a fan of the length of time it takes AVO to process applications, but I can see why it takes so long. These are all the countries that rely on AVO to process their applications, and applications that are not just spousal applications.

Yes other VOs have a large client load as well, so if some are speeding up the process, I should hope we see Accra do the same thing. I hope that all VOs speed up particularly now after seeing how quickly applications are being processed in Mississauga and being sent out to their respective VOs. The list above just gives us something to consider.

I refused to accept 9-11 months processing of our application from the immigration. They can't be lazing about with our applications whereas other visa offices process their's within three months. From today I declare our visa will not long again. The AVO seems like prison to our application but today the Lord that released Paul and silas from the prison will release our application within 3-4 months processing. Our God is bigger than them. Do they want us to commit adultery. This is wickedness.

AVO has provoked somebody...lol. But I believe this too afterall few years ago this application took just 3-4months but look at we now.

I can only imagine the feeling of being apart for so long when I feel the way I do even though the longest i've been apart from my spouse is just 3months, feels like yrs.
It is well...God won't let us see or do evil.

You're welcome. it really put things into perspective for me when I read about this. It's another one of those, "I'm not alone" moments, when you realize we're not the only ones applying to be with our loved ones, or looking to resettle or start a new career etc, all the reasons people immigrate. All good things come to those who wait.

It's my birthday today so imagine how much I miss my husband. Instead of sitting at home all day staring at the ceiling i took up a shift just to occupy my mind. Attimes keeping busy seem to be the only solution.
