Please brethrens, Did Avo work in accordance of when you apply or when your file is being transfered?
Please brethrens I enestly waiting to appreciate yours answers..
Thanks

They observe FIFO(FIRST IN FIRST OUT).

Hi Becos,
based on the question raised, it seem they observed FIFO but if your case is a routine case then FIFO did not work and if its the other way (non-routine)round then reverse is the case.
AVO try to satisfy all applicant either good or bad..

To Me I thInk AVO works on a FIFO basis and it is based on when AVO started processing your application and not when it is transferred. This is a trend I noticed with cic when I was applying for my study visa, permanent resident and citizenship application. But as I said, it's just a thought

Hi Misshirefly,
They said 'if' if means you only fill it if it concern you. If your situation is not like you leave it out. There some many questions on the application for that might not concern you based on your situation so you leave out or write not applicable. Hope it helps.

Hi Gapoha

Thanks alot for your response. Do you have any information on this please?

1. Family Composition Certificate (“Kashf El Ahl”) issued by the Civil Register (“Sigil El Madani”) or family booklet

How can the sponsored person get this in Nigeria? And will he submit the original or photocopy?

Also, does NYSC count as National Service.

Thanks once again.

Hi MissFirefly,
You are welcome, but I am a Ghanaian so I think our Nigerian brothers and sister will know much about that but you are not to send the original it's copy as it was stated on the checklist. Only police clearance they asked for original copy. CIC will may not return documents you send to them back and may even get lost so don't send the original.
All the best!

Hey gapoha, did you not send any originals of any of your documents?? Our lawyer had us send all of our originals. My friends did as well. They were all returned to them with his passport after he sent it in for PPR via DHL. Did you have all your copies notarized?

I never send any original except the police clearance, and it was stated in the checklist not to send original. Those that need to be notarized too was stated and I did accordingly. I just followed the instructions cic gave in their application pack, I have read in this forum before that people mistakenly sent their originals and got some lost and cic could not be held responsible. So it's not advisable. If they doubt anything they can call you for the originals. Or normally shown at the interview when you happened to be call for one.

Ah that's interesting. Haha maybe my lawyer just has the originals! We shall see! :)

A notarized copy is also a very valid copy. We got ALL our documents notarized even my PP data page. Only sent in ones they spwcifeied they need the original copies...eg Police clearance.

Application process takes too long and they can't possible sit on ones important documents for 7-10months.

@Becos ask your lawyer cos it was the services of a lawyer we used for the notary service and the cost wasn't funny. Didn't want to use a random notary service.

I can't seem to figure out what document you are asking about but I'll advice you to notarize any photocopy document you are sending to give it more validity.

My NYSC discharge was added even though I believe it doesn't really matter but dealing with embassies you should know you are better of giving them everything you think will boost your application. Let them now be the ones selecting the ones they need and if they like they trash the rest...lol.

Thanks.
