Hi Group!

Wonderful to read some good news on here today. I just learned of the GCMS notes since discovering this forum last week. My question is, for those of you who are familiar with this process, do you think now would be an appropriate time to request them? Our application was submitted on June 12th, 2015, and my husband's application was received at the AVO for processing on August 21st, 2015. Any feedback is welcome, thank you!

Click on the Profile tab on the top (or your username), then click on the Forum Profile Information under Modify Profile on the left. You will then be able to update your profile.

As your application is following the usual pattern, I will suggest you wait. If the trend on this thread is anything to go by, you should get PPR in a matter of weeks (and if they don't require further docs from you). Someone from May 2015 got PPR this week...go figure
Waiting to hear your PPR news soon.

So if you look at the checklist for Accra, upfront medical is listed. However some people choose to do it later as you have do done. You can do now it or wait for them to request. I don't think it makes much difference at this stage.

I think she needs to post a few times before the timeline pipe opens up for her fully. I had to post 10 posts before it gave me full access. I hope this helps

Hello! I believe your daughter doesn't need it because she is a US Citizen. US Citzens don't need a Visa to enter Canada, just like we don't need one to cross the border. When she gets here with her Mommy, and you guys decide to do the Citizenship in 2020, she will be automatically added to the process and if she is under 12 at that time, will become automatically Canadian. She won't even need to take the exam. God bless you!

Hi Guys,
I need help. Question regarding 5yr sponsorship bar scenario for previously sponsored spouse. "If your application was received before March 2012 you are not barred for 5yrs".

Please guys, does this refer to the previous application or the application about to be submitted? If one was sponsored in 2011 and looking to sponsor someone else in 2016 does this bar affect the 2016 application? Professional opinion would be highly appreciated.
