Am confused as my application was submitted February13th 2015,no concerns on GCSM note but I could recollect that there was 2 major impotant check that shows"not started"background and criminal check apart from that nothing else.I sent them an email last year December and l was told is on queue for review.
Nothing since then and all March,April and May are getting PPR request that is why am most concerned now.

Have you or ur spouse whoever is in canada contact the local mp...its the most effective...u will hear from them soon but use ur local mp to contact them and tell u what is happening to ur file.sometimes some files can be misplaced but it takes these push to get them out

Same here,Our gcms notes showed that security and criminality hasn't started as of November when we ordered it We were not asked to provide any additional documents since we applied either.
I understand your confusion @mamadmama. But, try to stay strong. This battle must be won. Sooner or later.

Also, AVO doesn't go exactly in chronological order. They serve a couple of west African countries and Processing time is not same for all these countries for xyz reasons.......

Anyways....my unpaid vacation was approved today and We are very much excited about it. We started shopping for tickets, mennnnnn they are on the high side. Wellllll, high side or not, we will have it booked latest next week and I'm off to see my beloved husband next month. We can't wait......

I'm super glad and excited to hear GOODNEWS on this thread for all who got PPR. For those of us waiting, Stay positive, strengthen your relation with your spouse despite the distance:this is extremely important. Pray incessantly.

I look forward to my weekends and I'm glad it's here. I'm wishing everyone an amazing weekend and may we hear more GOODNEWS on this thread next week.

Ghanaboy and Benestel

I am not even sure how to inbox here, can you please inbox me with any information you can think of, I have already contacted CIC, the immigration minister's office and my mp......and I am definitely going to appeal the decision because our marriage is real and the woman who interviewed my husband has no right to talk to him the way she did nor does she have the right to say she will make sure he will never get a visa, and never be able to go to Canada even if we appeal and win the appeal. she told him that she is the one that issues the visas and she will not give him one no matter what.......

At Olorvi,
I am so moved by the very disappointing interview your husband had with the so called IO. Please take note of the following and do not allow those statements get you off track or get to you.

  • In appeal situation, the judge has final say not her, not even the minister can refuse the determination of a court judge
  • She is very wrong to have talked to him that way but she did because people get away with nasty things almost always in the third world
  • Its sad that she had to lie about you to him, without a chance to speak. She did so to intimidate, discourage, brainwash and make him feel despondent. Encourage your man not to give in. Get him on your side with hope alive
  • I believe your case/marriage is genuine but I also want to believe she must have seen or experienced cases that are fraudulent which makes her treat your application that way. Anyways, no excuse for her rudeness/nasty statements or miss representation suffice
  • Please don't give up! Stand up for your family by proving her wrong

Feel free to pm me.

I rejoice with all those that Got PPR and wish that more good news flows in the forum.

Don't work yourself up please, once the sponsorship is approved and your file is transferred to the proper visa office you just have to wait.
In regards to divorced and other things that happens since 1995 has nothing to do with the present situations, the only thing you need now is to pray and wait in the Lord.Make sure all proper documents are sent and leave everything to God,is the author and finisher of everything in this World.Mercy shall work for us all in Jesus name Amen.

You really are getting yourself worked up over this. I have seen your questions on about 5 threads. The application process is a WAITING game....so be patient and you will hear from them. There is really nothing you can do now. Only CIC can give you a response.
Allo the best.
*Mandie*

As others have said, u're being too over stressful. Your Application was filed in Nov. 2015...you still have a long way to go.

On average, you get SA about 1 month after AOR. Calling CIC a thousand times will not make a difference.

Apart from your partner's previous sponsorship, is there any reason you are worried the SA will be declined ?

Patience is the key !!

Bonne Chance !!!
