That's going to be a problem. I think you should speak with your lawyer - you may need to explain that the marriage was dissolved in the traditional way between both families and provide the date, proof (may be letters from family members), etc and how this ties with your/your husband's culture. Then hope that CIC accepts this.
Unfortunately, if CIC refuses the application, you and your husband will need to re-marry then apply afresh.

Yeah the ex wife lives in Ghana... It was a traditional marriage and they also registered it in court So it was in the system... But because the family gather together and dissolve the marriage my husband didn't do any follow up for the court.. He completely forgot about it...and now because he didn't follow up it has been a problem...

I'm gathering all our whatapp chat and its from 2013 up to now..its about 1,500 copies to print should I print it all??
