Sure go ahead and fill that in as well.

Wow long long journey finally comes to an end. I hope NKT is next and itsmytime and then hopefully me.

Thank you. I'm still waiting but hope it's soon. They said they would review the file in 30 days, jan 13 would have been 30 days. Fingers are crossed and I still pray for everyone! Again congrats Ghana boy!

I wonder if it's 30 days from the time they receive the docs? or 30 days from Jan 13

sorry I meant if it's 30 days from the time they request the docs? or from when they receive them from you?

I think it's 30 days from the day they sent the email. It said you have 30 days to submit requested documents. We will review the file in 30 days and come to a decision.

It's the same exact form your filled out already. Just refill the form and attach a note saying nothing changed in the family.

That's the only form you need. Just make sure you download the latest version of the form from the CIC site.

Ghanaboy,
From what I have read previously on this thread, I will say to refill the form requested. If you have a copy of what you originally submitted, please consult it And just make sure there are no contradictions. Most people that had passport request in the past were asked to submit this specific form. I suppose is to confirm that there have not been any change in family situation.

I hope someone else can throw more light on this.

Thank you lamour. Accra has had my file for over 3 months now and I was expecting something (either passport request or more docs) by now. That has been the trend in the last 2 years. But I heard nothing and I was hoping January is the month, but I guess maybe Feb :)

On the other hand, maybe silence is a good thing? I mean if they had issues with my application, wouldn't they have contacted me by now?

Still waiting patiently and I expect the notes to arrive in 2 weeks and I'll have a better idea of what's going on.

NKT should be any moment now, literally.

Good luck to everyone.

I agree with you Moh. Silence is a good sign that everything is okay with your file and you will get a passport request in February. Nevertheless, I will suggest you have the additional documents ready. Like communication since you filed, Should they ask.

NKT, I am certain you will hear something positive in February as well.

All the best to all

Everyone!
Received my SA on Jan. 27th. and my file has now been transferred to Accra. I have months to wait but I am glad the first stage is over.
Congrats Ghanaboy you deserve the best. Your patience has paid off.
We will all be with our loved ones soon. Waiting and anticipation makes love even stronger.

Good luck to all!
