mfaith, we have very similar times as yours:

09/09 - Docs received
24/09 - Docs forwarded to Ghana
07/13 - Meds done
Now just awaiting next

You guys are incredibly helpful and encouraging.

I think I have a situation here, my wife became a permanent resident of Canada in September and she was told Accra will be contacted it's now over 10 weeks and I am yet to receive any update from the Visa Office. My application and medical receipt has been sent since second week of August but I was told that the office will wait until my Wife became a permanent resident of Canada.

Does anyone have something to add to this?

Accratalk,
I didn't want to go through any problem with mailing so
she went in person and she was ask to come back in the
afternoon, she went and visa was ready for pick up.

Obey I am happy for you and thank God for you. Ours will surely work out in a timely manner. It is a very difficult thing - the waiting. There's no easy way to go through it.....
