Thanks guys , I don't really know how to check anything or how to calculate my timeline ?
My application was received in Mississauga on December 23, 2016.
They started processing my application on February 2, 2017.
Medical result has been received .

Hahaha, that is a funny response xis! I was cic will be able to introduce something in the near future that update us every single stage of the application instead of us waiting until passport request before you know what is really happen to the application.

hello member, I had a dream that a lot of passport requesst and passport returned with visas this coming week and pray that should be a reality.

Hi AnneMariee, as of December 2016 when CIC changed the application process you are no longer able to do a medical before they request it. The designated clinics won't let you. Unfortunately now you'll just have to wait u until they ask for it. But the good part is is that CIC receives your medical via email immediately upon completion so there is typically no delay.

I think if this is a real dream then I think August-September applicant must get ready for some news. Did anyone even know which month of application they working on at the moment? Honestly, I am about the get mad with this process it is very stressful.

I hope you are right about August apps. I feel like I'm holding my breath that it could be any day. Fingers crossed! I don't think any July apps have gotten word yet though. Ninche is the only July app I know is really on here. And maybe Joshwife who posted on here the other day, he might be July too.

So I did it

I emailed over 150 documents to Accra as an extra prove of our sweet relationship

Include moneygram receipt , pictures of gift we exchange, confirmation emails I got for my flight for dec and march. Our whatsapp msg logs and calls , note from my doctor that my hubby and I are expecting and lots of adorable pictures of us received emails that it has been received

Even tho I had to send all of this 5times because it won't allow me to send over 150 pictures throught email so I send it separately 5times. Haha desperate time calls for desperate measure or how ever they say it
At this point I'm desperate and I will do everything to get my hubby here by a God's grace

My bro good morning BBCcanada,from the investigation I was able to conduct, AVO stop working from one to another since the new rules of December 7 comes to work,I realized that they are trying to carry every one along since January this year in other to clear all the backlog before December this year.. That's why since year people no longer getting ppr or interview as its 2016 ,when it happen one month after another and we are always able to know the month they are working on,but now if you check you will realized that people's hearing from AVO is no longer according to when they apply but when your officer contacts you,
On my own case I know some March/April applicant's who are still not heard from them when the contact me,and if you check further on other peoples timeline you will realized what I mean,may Jehovah help us all. And give us the courage to endure, may he grants us our heart desires ,one thing is sure everyone who I meet here must get ppr as soon as possible before this year end for CIC to fulfill there promise of 12months from December 7 ,stay strong brother's

Hi all, good to be to read the stories of wonderful people all chasing one goal ''to unite with their loved ones''. Same reason I'm here and strongly believe by the Grace of God we all shall get positive news from cic these year based on their new processing timeline. I get a lot of help from this forum when I was filling my forms along side my wife, I would have done lots of mistakes if not for help from here. Definitely I owe this forum a lot, wish I can tell each one of you a special thank you individually. I sincerely appreciate. My application was received January 25th 2017, AOR Feb 19th, March 2nd SA and file transfer to Accra visa office, started processing my application March 16th. So those are my timeline so far. But we have a little challenge, at the beginning we were able to pay only the application fee of 550, now we want to pay the RPRF after logging in to cic site and heading straight to pay fees, at the fee log, there was no option of paying 490, what we found was 550 and the full payment of a thousand plus, now this got us confused because we want to pay that asap so we don't use the money for some other things. Anyone in this same situation or who have dealt with such situation in the past should come to our rescue.

@Timosky, thanks you so much for your much appreciated outline and your encouragement because this process is very stressful but support like yours keeps us going. I can't imagine the stress applicanst from march 2016 are going through at me moment because my application is only 3 months old but I am feeling like a year old application.

I think you have to log into the account you created when you were paying the 550 and maybe that will give you the option to pay for the remaining 490. I hope someone in the house has already done it so easy help will come. Good luck and wish you a very fast processing time.

I have logged in and even advanced to the payment page, still couldn't find the option to pay 490. Anyway, I 'll still be on the lookout for solution. Thank you very much for your reply, is well appreciated.

The confirmation email pretty much says it was delivered so I think that is fine. As for your travel date, they may have wanted your itinerary to see if there is any need to extend your medicals validity so if you put in a date earlier than you would really be ready to travel, you may not get a medical extension but this is just what I think. I'm not sure exactly how CIC works. Congratulations all the same.
