I have found great deals on flights in the past using www.kayak.com. A quick search I just did from Lagos to Toronto shows around $1000 CAD, depending on how soon the flight will be. Best of luck, and congratulations once again.

126 days now no SA nor information if file transfered to Accra, made numerous calls, sent case specific email still no answer...

Happy Easter all. Plz i need the website for checking flight ticket price. And can someone tell me the price range and flight that could be good and affordable from lagos to canada. What i have seen here is 2000 dollars upward.

Yep! I recommend Ethiopian Airline as well. I paid N190,000 from Lagos to Toronto

If by now you have not received SA or any other info, something must be holding your file at CPC-Miss. Does you sponsor have any adverse history that you know of? Have you considered ordering GCMS notes? http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp
Rule of the thumb is to prepare the application very well and allay any fear/concern CIC might have about a particular adverse situation. Not much could be said about your situation if you don't give further info about your circumstances.

The search is through the website www.kayak.com. Looks like flights to SK are higher than somewhere in ON like Toronto. Saw some suggestions on here for Ethiopian Airlines. I have also flown with them to GH in the past, with very reasonable prices.

Yes i have experience witg Ethiopian airlines too and BA but i think ethiopian airlines is more affordable and good services...didnt waste much time in Dublin so u can consider that

Please contact your local mp if you have not...it looks like your best life line now....i feel your situation..very intimidating

What do they tells you when you call?? did you actually talk to then by phone, and what they say???

About calling CIC yes they do answer the calls at some point and also they agreed it has gone past the time limit for the sponsor assessment and made many notes and also said its little they can do from call center, and that they are waiting completion of background check .

Well about the whole story, I am the applicant, I and my spouse are divorcees and we have know for 10 years now though got married in 2014 in Nigeria .

It took us this long bcos we are contemplating settling in uk before agreed Canada , she is a British Canadian . So I was just surprised at the turn of event now about this long delay and wait, right now am kind of frustrated bcos CIC call center say they don't see any problem, they not ask questions or request extra documents yet and I requested my GCMS note still lot of hidden information, then what's the problem.

Hi Samola10 I do understand your frustration ...Just hang in there I do believe things would sort itself out. One quick question about your relationship do you have documentary evidence for the last 10 years of knowing your spouse? Also, was your spouse marriage in the UK or Canada ? I'm assuming both of you have done all the paper work with respect to your divorce prior to your PR application without any red flags .

Yes all paper work about divorce well documented.
My spouse did married in Canada before and all evidence of our relationship since last ten years submitted.
Everything was in order that's why it took about 7-8 years to perfect all paper work

Yes i understand you...no red flag detected since its not spproved yet or heard from them yet so we can't really tell what is going on....so please try and hang in there a little...

For those who have Landed. what did you show as proof of fund when landing?

-Account statement from Nigeria bank or
-Cash at hand .

Thus is really giving me a lot of headache as the xchange at open market is crazy.

I guess you are on the wrong page,this is family class sponsorship
