@Ikecanada when did you apply and when was the medical done? As Whitelion mentioned, it's better to wait on AVO, they are unpredictable. You might get PPR just before it expires. They have exceptionally sped up cases before expiration of Medicals.

Congratulations to those who got IP on their ecas. To God be all the glory. Accra is working on March, April, May and June almost the same time. I guess Applicants for these months are not much as compared to Nov, Dec and January applicants. Lamour next week u are getting ur passport request and February applicants too. For those who got IP plz start preparing ur luggage because this year will not passby without Avo issuing u ur visa . ;D

Certainly Ikecanada. Your child is the greatest proof of the marriage but not the only factor involved in the decision. Your medical and application date has 7 months apart, that's a lot of difference. In any case, it's better to hear from AVO before taking any step.

I wonder if it's the amount of applicants that causes the lingering in AVO. Also, something might have changed In their procedures. For last year applicants when application status changes to 'in process' they got PPR few days after. Now it's months. Whatever it is, we have no much of a choice than to patiently wait. It's a quality we MUST cultivate.

yes it is 7 months apart. I did not ask my wife to do a new medical since it is still valid and we really do not know the time period it will take them to issue visa. And to save cost. Thanks lamour.

am filling up my application but almost done wondering does the sponsor need an 8 immigration passport photo to be submitted with the application package as while?

No,sponsor does not need any passport if you based in Canada,you only need photo I'd.
