Thank you Obrunicoco. I guess I have to be patient for now. I guess it means 43 working days?

I'm glad things seem to be working fast in Accra, I read the last 20 pages of this forum and it looks like most of you are looking at 4-6 months from the time you mailed the application.

I wish you all the best and welcome to Canada.

If anyone needs anything from Ottawa then please let me know.

My good friend Macus, how are you doing? In my own case they sent email to me not sure if my wife checks her own. Macus this is your week and my prayer is stronger than ever. They recieved my iyawo's passport at the embassy today, I am sure that in the next week she will be ok. She is not coming till April, so I will be going to Nigeria in xmass to spend time with my family.Macus, destiny can be delayed, but ....... Cannot be denied. I pray for my good man Ghanaboy to be a success story sooner than later. Macus pop champaign and keep thanking God for doing it already.

Yes, Accra is working very fast. Did you send the police checks and medical in advance? That speeds things up. If they didn't ask for additional docs our process would have been about 5 months

Yes we sent everything in advance...police checks and everything. Fees as well.

Thank you everyone and I hope you all get reunited with your loved ones.

Hi how is everyone? I hope well. So I just seen something about Canada not issuing visas or pr to anyone in the west African countries with wide spread ebola cases. Does anyone know exactly what countries these are?
Thank you

Hi everyone! i just found how to join this forum. I've been following the discussions, and it has made it easier for me to understand many things better. My husband is sponsoring my application for permanent residence in canada, and we had submitted the police report and medicals with the application in may. the visa office in Accra has requested for the payment of RPRF as at 29th of september, and my husband has made the payment. My challenging concern is this, how are we to send the receipt to them in Accra? is it via scanning it and sending as email or by courier? My husband has already emailed them a scanned copy of the receipt of payment, but they haven't gotten back to us to acknowledge its receipt, and time is running(we were given 60 days to pay). we are thinking of also sending it through courier services. please for those who have sent in theirs upon request from accra, how did you do yours? so sorry for the long epistle, and thanks for your urgent advice.

You have done the right thing and I believe that they recieved it. To satisfy the curiosity of your mind, resend it and copy Mississauga as well. They have fast transmitting process. Also, fast it to Accra tomorrow If you could.

Hi Everyone,

So I got my sponsorship approval on October 27th after they received the application on September 10.

I'm so happy and I hope things go smooth in Accra.
