i had sent a regular e-mail to CHC ND last week regarding the status of my application.
i got that same NEGATIVE REPLY that many applicants have been getting, around the visa offices in the world.
" your application was received on blah blah blah. it will take 2 years or more to blah blah blah.
canada received more applications than expected blah blah blah. so many applicants will have to wait for 2 years or more blah blah blah.
if u want to withdraw application u r eligilble for a REFUND blah blah blah "

so what do i make of this and what do i do ?
i am impressed that CHC ND sent me the reply so quickly. and guys i do not think that it is a computer generated e-mail, because they had mentioned my initial application date to CIO SYDNEY ( 25/03/2010 ) in the reply

This is not a good news,We all need to send regular e mail to CHC ND and see what response do we get. Then only we will be able to come to any conclusion if they are doing this with everyone or they have certain criteria like file trnsfer date, application date, 2md AOR date etc. etc

Has any one with file transfer date of March 2010 also got the same reply?Because till February they already cleared most of the casea and for MArch also, they were processing and sending medicals to applicants.

Just a thought, but the more you keep pestering the visa office for updates, the less time they will have to process your files. I understand that there will be new rules on July1st. Why not wait and see what new horrors they have in store?

While gazing at other NOC discussions, they have also started recieving the same reply form their VO's, first Manila, then UK and than ofcourse ND, it seems a standard reply "saying , hey buddy, pls dont disturb us, we'r working" kinda message underneath.

@Hitesh Dand, ur true its not an auto reply, but at the same time its doesnt seem that personalized too, they just alter the date of app. send to CIO, thats the same masala to all.

I feel we should wait and see our way comin through.(again thats the only thing we can do

I think you're O.K. The 1111 and 0111 codes are no longer listed as they are not required occupations now, however people who were already approved by Nova Scotia are supposed to continue to be processed. That's my understanding anyway.

yes it was nice , downtown was even better , we went in there a little bit late in the afternoon though. so decided against going to ferry which would have been nice. any how we can do that some another time. good thing was my daughter enjoyed there a great deal, so by virtue of that we enjoyed as well
