SSAKAL,

Where are you located. If there is a hurry means you are losing days, you can go to another city for medicals also. I m in chd and i had it at Fortis, they do it everyday from Monday to Friday. You can go at 11 a.m. Hope this helps.

Vishesh I am Based in Delhi

Even Delhi does the medicals every day but they have such a long waiting period with so many people coming there everyday.

Jassi had suggested this on the same thread about Amritsar too and I wanted to follow his advice

but my consultant advised me against it , fearing how chc will take a view of it.

They will waste time asking why the medical was done away from home city says the consultant

If there is really an urgency, like you are losing time then this can be done, CHC would not have any problem with that. Also, in their medical letter CHC sends, they have mentioned if for some reason you are not in your city to get the medicals done, you can always go for another place. there is no restriction on that. Anyways if you have sufficient time and want to by consultant's advice, that is fine. I just suggested what i felt was right in case there is an urgency. You better follow consultant, so he does not have a chance to blame you in case something wrong happens.

Best of luck for your medicals.

Vishesh

I have been Given 30 days by my consultant but i think VO gives more than that

I think i am on schedule

Yes, then its fine. VO gives 45 days to submit medicals, RPRF and passports.

Fair advice by your consultant
