Agree with Jigneshbhai.

Lets be optimistic or at the best lets be practical and pragmatic.
We all are reading too much into this.
If they wanted to get rid of Pre june they would have done so along with Pre Feb 2008.

Our application will be processed.

Check the following website.
http://www.workingincanada.gc.ca/home-eng.do?lang=eng

It has outlook, average wages, licence/certificaiton/education requirement for your NOCs. Requirements will keep on changing.
Somedays doctors will be in demand and somedays accountants some day nurses.

Yes, we have to try to remain positive, even if it is for an indefinite time. However, not to be negative, but the reason for pre-Feb 2008 cases being axed and pre-June cases still being in the system may be that sufficient time has not elapsed for pre-June cases for axing them :-\ Hence maybe two yrs down the line, if we do get sidetracked, we have to consider the remote possibility of this Govt. taking a negative decision for then remaining pre-June cases (whether in-Process or otherwise).

The red part is a matter of worry

Today, Minister Kenney announced two additional changes that will help transform Canada’s immigration system. One proposed change would help CIC ensure FSW applicants meet current labour market needs. It would allow new rules set out in Ministerial Instructions to apply to people who have already submitted an application. For example, instructions could place a priority on a specific occupation, such as doctors, and have existing applications from doctors processed first, regardless of where they are in the queue.

A similar change would allow new regulations, once approved, to apply retrospectively to people who have already submitted an application. These changes would help ensure that immigrants are chosen based on Canada’s current needs and priorities.

I received my CAIPS report today. It says

PSDEC: 1 (Done on the same day that my In process changed to the date)
SELDEC: 1 (Done on the same day that my In process changed to the date)
Points awarded: Age:10, Experience:21, Education:25, Language:14, Adaptability:5
Total: 75
BFD date is 01-06-2012 (Exactly 4 months from the date of In process)
IO comments:
PA has obtained sufficient points to satisfy me that he/she will be able to become economically established in Canada. I am satisfied that the points awarded to the applicant adequately reflect the applicants ability to settle in Canada.
PROOF OF SETTLEMENT FUNDS - MUST BE RE-CONFIRMED (This is in upper case)

ECU Please request the following:
- updated proof of funds
- PPT's
- Meds
- RPRF

Though I have sent my RPRF along with the documents and I have a receipt of the same, still the IO is requesting the ECU to request for RPRF. Also, RPRF received is mentioned in the CAIPS report. Also they mentioned that they sent me a receipt for RPRF.

With inprocess dates, we are on track. I hope, nothing to worry about backlog etc.

We will reach our goal soon.

Thanks and hope everyone will go through in this forum. We know and can understand how frustrating it is to wait for so long.

Even with the Pre-2008 applications backlog reduction, about 20,000 who are in process in that list are safe.

yes u are right. canada will choose their immigrants as and when they need it and not just because someone has filed an application, he or she should be in canada.
