Didn't want to make the blog negative again.

Brother, I too do not want to make this blog negative but let me tell you some real hard fact.

In 2003 New Zealand eliminated backlog with bringing in new legislation. The most unfortunate thing was that THEY ALSO ELIMINATED APPLICATIONS WHOSE MEDICALS WERE COMPLETED AND WERE WAITING FOR VISAS.
Background:(New government was elected in New Zealand at that time and they took this decision. So, you never know with this politicians.)

IT IS NOT THAT EASY FOR THE CANADIAN GOVERNMENT TO IMPLEMENT SUCH THOUGHT IN TO ACTION, IT TAKES LOT OF BIPARTISANSHIP EFFORTS AND IT IS NOT GOING TO BE OVERNIGHT DECISION. SO NO NEED TO PRESS THE PANIC BUTTON AT THE MOMENT.

OHMYGOD :o :o :o

Even if you see the quarterly admin data released by cic, they have not classified post feb 2008 applicants as backlog. So nothing to worry for post Feb 2008. But yes this could be worrying for Pre-Feb 2008 applicants if they legislate the backlog.

nothing to worry

we are not backlog

It is quite clear now that people who applied under Fastrack are not backlog. Thanks for posting. Feeling relaxed.

1. one of our applicants, Kdsttl has been directed to ECU, and has a BFD

that s Enough proof for us, the applicants of this thread.

we must thank KDSTTL that he went for caips and came out with that positive report.

2. till date, NDVO has done a lot, for the processing part of our files.........
there has to be a "phenomenal" logic and reason, for mass dis-approvals.

3. jo bole so nihaal: sat sri akaal!

4. if we r destined to spend our lives there, we will reach there.

Dear All,
I am in Canada and studying daily news papers.I came to conclusion that present Govt is keen to process pre-june applications with their speed. But they are keen to send back pre Feb 2008 applications. For this they are working. No need to worry for you as per my observations. Also 38 category was demanded by present Govt. How they can deny them. You all to remain to free of mind and enjoy Indian culture which you will miss in Canada.

Have a look at the above mentioned links.
Canada is keen to eliminate backlog. It has asked provincial govts to see if they can fit backlog candidates there..
So some of the backlog applicants can be selected for provincial nominations.

Posting it here so that anyone whose friend/relatives have applied can inform them of this policy. And its for Ontario so its much better.
They can send an inquiry to CHC and ask for this program..

Keep it posting on other threads too..
