Carry at least CAD 10,000/- in cash -( or more if you can), and balance in FDD , that will be issued in US $ by all banks in Pakistan.

All US $ FDD takes 45 days (Max) for realization

Thanks msaeed n all for ur assistance. I am carrying CAD as cash with me and also making a draft in CAD. The bank(Meezan Bank) said they can make the draft in CAD.

CAD draft can be made from Dollar east but takes a couple of days to be ready. Immediately shows in Canadian account as did myself

is there any requirement or papers for FDD any bank suggestion through which we can easily get FDD

Best bank is Standard chartered Bank Pakistan , who issues FDD for immigrants
Contact your nearest branch manager , and do open account in that branch that offers foreign currency bank accounts

Pls advice is it really very necessary to carry receipts for jewelry as we have aome gift items and I dont have time to carry all which is risky as we to carry it to jewelry shop
I put the estimate and carry pictures and actual jewl ry with me

These receipts MIGHT be required by authorities. Its always better to carry them as back up
